@VolenteHawk As a baseball bettor, you might know the answer to this

That's really more of a risk management question, and he didn't get all that down in the same place so it will vary by book.  If a book could attract enough bets on other teams, they'd theoretically have the ability to offset Astros exposure but I have no idea how big the handle is for MLB futures overall...like how easy is it for the market to kill $75M in risk.

As it relates to baseball, if the market as a whole couldn't offset Astros futures then -190 is probably a little bit inflated to attract Phillies money, which would imply some value on the Phillies.  I don't know that that's true or not, but baseball is so random that you're almost obligated to take +175 or better.  Similar to how Super Bowl odds get out of what.  That attracts so much money, and it's heavily skewed to the point spread favorite and money line dog...pushing you to almost always like the price of the money line favorite.

It took me quite a while to warm up to it--especially the rear end. I strongly considered a used M2, but I wasn't willing to pay over MSRP for a 2+ year old car. I may replace this one with a new M2 in 6 years--the last of the ICE M models

I just bought a used M2 a month ago, but it essentially took me a year and a half to find one in price/mileage/manual range.

What temp are you running to get 60-90 min? I ask because everything i see online references more like 30-45 min/lb at 275, but the last time I had this at a buddy’s house, they were done right after about an hour and he swears he cooks between 275-300. It’s got me all twisted up like a pretzel.

At 275 it'll be almost 3 hours, at 300 it'll be closer to 2...both turn out great.

Honestly I prefer the really heavy rubber ones that came stock on our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, over any of the hard plastic/vinyl ones.  Don't know if anyone sells something like that after-market, that is custom-fit to your vehicle, as tightly as the Jeep ones are.  If somebody did, I'd probably buy those to replace the WT ones on my F150.

Ford makes a factory set for the F150...exact same size as the carpeted ones and the driver's side snaps in to the retention clips, so it doesn't slide around.  They're pretty great.

The quality of work is hit and miss. The last project we worked on together was absolutely shit. I spot checked his work and there were mistakes all over the place.

We're working on a new project. I've given him some rudimentary stuff to work on. Stuff that should take 2-3 days tops. He's totally milking it and telling his immediate supervisor that he doesn't have capacity to work on anything else.

Yeah, I'm going to have a come-to-jeebus talk with him after the current project is over.

You don't have a remote work problem, you have a shitty employee problem.

  6. Has anybody bitched about another concert venue named Moody yet?  Trivial, but this conversation could be a thing...

"To get to your hotel, take 183 to Ed Bluestein to Research Blvd."

    "Are those right exits?"

"No exits, you just keep driving."

    "Cool where's the venue?"

"Great little midsized joint called the Moody Theater.  Not the Moody Center, so get the right one.  It's also called ACL Live."

"Oh, Austin City Limits, I've heard of that."

"No, it's not that, that's outdoors on the other side of Town Lake.  I mean Lady Bird Lake.  Well, it is that if you're talking about the TV show."

Voted yes earlier as well. For the record, two sides agree makes it sound like a completed trade occurred. Sounds like one partner on a two man team didn’t like the deal after it was completed. Don’t know that I’ve seen one get canceled after the fact.

Also what it sounds like to me, but for the record I'm an "all trades go through unless there is collusion" guy...so I'm admittedly strongly biased to not reversing.

I'll ultimately abide by what the league decides, of course.

I always overlook relievers in the draft.

I usually grab them early (arguably too early), but ESPN had to draft for me. They didn’t even grab any at the end like you would kickers and defense. 😂
