So as this bill appears ready to pass, I think it is widely understood that the biggest part of this is tax cuts for the rich. Has anyone even stopped to just ask WHY that is needed? I don’t think they have, nor do I think there is a reason other than “because we can”

Having a bit of writer's block. Trying to figure out how to fit in the phrase "extravagant, decadent, guilty pleasure . . . tempered with a nagging feeling of violation."
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. On second thought . . . .

I really pray that this line is clogged by people telling long, detailed stories about being anally probed.
How's yours coming along? At the 10,000 word mark yet?

Poor Samford. They have to play at the toughest stadium to win at in the nation.
Yeah, but you have to be pretty damn smart even to play on the football team in Palo Alto, so they have a good chance for an upset at Kyle.

Come-on man. I went from jogging 3 miles 3x a week swimming miles to 51 with zero beer gut no love handles, still a 32in waist and sometimes I need a wheelchair. MS/hemochromatosis/Parkinson who knows but I can say MRI suck, Spinal tap recovery suck, Catscanes easy issues and frankly left arm isn't working
Okay, what's your 40 time?

Pivoting to no time = spinach shake was a big part of what has worked for me this year with little kids and a busy job.
If I’m not out of the office, that’s essentially been my lunch for the past several years. Coconut milk base, peanut butter, flax oil, flax or chia seed, scoop of protein powder, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, and a bunch of spinach. I get in a ton of fiber, healthy fats, protein, and greens, and instead of spending an hour or more going to a restaurant like I did in my younger days, I can use that time to leave work a little earlier.

Y'all need to update your spam filters. I had to check the spam folder to see if I got one and there it is.
The constant barrage of texts and emails from his first failed campaign built up such a relationship between us that the second go-around my spam filters let him straight through.

I just started sprint interval training a few weeks back, anyone else? I do it on a stationary bike. i'm becoming a fan as I don't have to do dedicated cardio for an hour, I do 8-10 thirty second sprints on a stationary then rest for a quick minute then back at it. all in about 20-30 mins of intense cardio - max effort. works for my ADHD brain and it mimics the rhythm of a tennis match.
I do it about once a week, but on an elliptical. 30 second sprints with a minute rest in between for 15 minutes, followed by about 10 minutes of lower body stretching, then some quick core work to finish. It’s a nice break in the middle of my weight training.

aggy has been hounding this account all week since the final DC numbers came out, so he tried to help them out.
I wonder if aggy reads this post and the "award" in the same condescending and satirical tone that I do.

Currently reading. I've known much about his life and mission in the many documentaries I've seen about the civil rights movement, but have never taken a deep dive. He was truly an incredible man, and his disciplined commitment to nonviolent opposition is still inspiring. And I know the older I get the less I'm aware of how many more years ago the Jim Crow era was still firmly established in American life. But it still seems like only a short while ago in our nation's history that America was unabashedly shitting all over the Black population, backed by our legal institutions and elected leaders.
The writer doesn't hold back on his extra-marital affairs, which were more numerous than I had understood. And it's amazing how brazen the FBI was at the time in obtaining information on those affairs through extensive wiretapping. It's also a remarkable commentary of that time that the FBI shared with certain media outlets some of those tapes in which King was talking to his mistresses or to other men about his sexual exploits, and nobody in the press wanted to publish them. Today, the media would be blasting that in lightening speed.
I'm about 70% through, and I'm surprised MLK made it to 1968.

I think a few of us could come up with something to slap Fat Boy’s name on it and get it to him to sell to his loser dumbass cult who would buy it just because it Fat Boy is selling it.
Anyone up to make a couple of million right quick?
