I said I don't eat oysters but that's not true. Broiled, fried? That's a different story. Will be in NOLA soon and you know I'll have broiled oysters.

If you were a white supremacist afrikaner and all your "friends" are fascist fucks who dream of world domination just like you, where would you turn?

I mean, I guess if you live in Leander there probably isn't anything else to do?

Heading up to Whitefish, Montana for rest of summer in a couple days. Thinking about skiing A Basin on way if it is open this weekend. I like the mountain and grew up skiing Summit County. But I have never skied there this late. What's it like in June? Has to be slushy, I assume.
I've skied it later in May three times.... remember two great years, one not so great but even the not so great year gave access to bootpacking terrain on the east wall. Just check the trail status. Right now not really showing much since they're only open Friday - Sunday.

Saw that this week. Absolutely horrifying. I don't really understand how no one died (1 still missing?) and google isn't helping. Did they know this was coming and everyone had budded out?
* Skied Saas-Fee back in HS (87 or 88 ish?). Don't remember it at all, just that it's where we were.
Yeah they got everyone out just a few days before. They knew something was up.
Not sure what happened to Belalp higher up. It is/was (?) a car-free village above treeline with a lift that has views of the Aletsch Glacier. Different glacier. Longest in Europe.

Back in 2019 I took the family skiing in Saas-Fee. While there I was looking at other ski mountains to visit since I like trying as many mountains as I can. One of them was Belalp, about 50 minutes from Saas-Fee. Well, if you heard of Batten being wiped out by the glacier and landslide... that was Belalp.

Wasn't there a Tesla crushed under the Greystone Texaco canopy as well?
I'm not gonna suggest that God hates Teslas, but...
Don't we all, God... don't we all.
Got another 1" of rain this morning. I'm enjoying this.

Yeah, that was a racket... should have told him to F off. Did he get his money?
“While I realize that no artwork lasts indefinitely, the original hope was that Moments would be maintained and kept in good repair for many years,” Trominski wrote in a letter to the city this year in support of removing the installation due to its deteriorating condition. “This and general site conditions have created an ongoing less-than-ideal situation for the original concept.”
The artist has asked that no part of the piece be reused, except for recycling. He also asked to witness any demolition and that he get to keep one of the blue panels.
“He would prefer that it not be up if it’s not going to sort of be what it was intended in the beginning,” said Wick, the collection manager for Moments.
