I'm conflicted. I'm feeling optimistic about today - much moreso than last week - but I hate aggy threads like this, and I think OP is terrible.
So hook 'em, and fuck OP's mom.

In Port Mansield, one could kick back in it's little bar without much fuss no matter who you are. In a place where 20 people is a busy night, you don't have to give interviews or constantly have to humor new arrivals who drop by to say hi
But Leach wasn't there for the bar. The 1500 pop town has a captian who has 24/7 access to a luxury fishing vessel which is his to use as his own when it isn't on charter. This captain also owns a sweet shallow runner bay boat...
If i remember right, Leach's first time on this one specific boat happened right before or just after he had taken the OU job. Even though this charter is discrete a la VEGA STYLE, in little town Texas, nothing goes unknown.
My sister has lived there for decades...
I, for one, am grateful Bill Little takes time out of his retirement to post on Surly.

Who knew that paying attention in the film room and showing up to practice were important? I suspect that the secondary was too busy looking at draft projections and a #6 ranking to bother.

How are they not prepared for Gundy? 2 weeks and they looked lost as fuck in the first half and had moments of confusion in the 2nd half. Gundy has been around for a while, nothing should be a surprise.
This isn't complicated. The team started smelling its own farts while looking at a #6 ranking, saw that OSU was not a very good team, and they decided to mail it in for 3 quarters. When they realized, "Oh, shit!" it was too late.
It's not shocking, and it's exactly what you'd expect to see when a bunch of starters get benched for not showing up to practice. It's the same thing that happened over the offseason before Maryland: we thought we were too good to lose, so we did. This isn't a bad team or one that's filled with pussies, it's one that's frighteningly undisciplined that has no idea about the level of consistent effort required to win.

Congratulations on winning the internets. Now fuck off.

so we are aggy now? We lost bc we are bunch of pussies
I don't think this team is a bunch of pussies. If they were, they'd have folded when they got down at the beginning of this game. Instead, they fought to come back, and nearly did.
That said, this team so obviously lacks discipline it hurts. From feeling like they've made it so they don't need to show up to practice on time to coasting effort on the field at the start of the game to Hagar and Herman's bullshit at the end, this team set itself up to fail tonight, just like it did for Maryland.
It's not that they don't try hard, it's that they don't try consistently.

Has anyone seen andyv94 and OP at the same time?

This....this is not aging well.
If we pull it out tonight, I'll be incredibly happy, but do the first 3 quarters not count?

Today I learned that a loss to a not-very-good Mississippi State team helps aggy finish 2018 strong. Apparently quality losses are all part of the plan.

In case you haven't noticed. These shitheads aren't just incompetent they are rigging the games. That offsides call on the "trick play" entire team false start was the last straw.
It's a joke to them, the defensive holding call on a run play at the beginning, it's just a joke. These refs are all on horse steriods too. Disgusting.
Rig 12 conference full of rape and abuse cover ups, combined with the rigged games, ain't worth another dime or watching another Disney commercial.
Do you know how I know you're a bitch?
Was that call terrible? Yep. But "OMG the game is rigged!" is aggy bullshit. Bad calls happen. Until we hit 2015 levels, STFU. You're embarrassing.
Delete thread, light OP on fire.

Four dropped passes right on target so far.
Is that more or less than the number of open receivers he's had when he's thrown into the ground or 5-10 yards off target? He's not losing the game tonight, but expecting him to bail out the team is foolhardy.
I'm glad the guy had the game of his life during the biggest game of the season so far, but I just absolutely don't get all the love for him. It's not that I think he's terrible; since he's quit throwing back breaking interceptions, he's....fine, I guess? All I know is that the guy has an uncanny ability to make an amazing plays followed by throws that look like something from a not-particularly-talented 7th grader.

Could Wheeler maybe quit fucking jogging casually towards the play?

It’s virtually impossible to tell what is happening in the game by listening to Dave South.
I'm not sure what part of "Fitzgerald back to pass....we've almost got him!...........................................................................................................................

Okay we can get that back" is so unclear.

And I thought the Kentucky/aggy game broadcast team was as bad as it could get.

I'm not dying on any hill. The guy's going to LSU. Looks like both sides are happy with that. He gets to join a good program and they get this psychopath who Texas fans say will destroy the program. We all take our chances.

I'm legitimately unsure if both of you are trolling or are just mentally defective. I'm either case, I'm negging you both. It's the only way to be sure.

Stats are for losers, right? How is your offense going, Coach Muschamp?

To be fair, it's not like the guy could have much else going on in his life.

They're also extremely susceptible to losing backs out of the backfield. We'd been saving the mesh/RB wheel for OU (which scored a TD). We might score on it another time of two against Baylor, especially since Evans wants to see RBs catching passes.
Was that called in your Herman offense Mensanalysis thread? If so, a tip of the hat.
I haven't watched a ton of Baylor football this year, but from my limited viewing, their LB corps is bad to very bad. Some tempo and passes to RBs to exploit mismatches could lead to easy scores, especially if they keep having to involve their secondary in the run game.

Sous vide chuck roast with an herb crust and au jus, honey-glazed carrots, and a salad (and a shitty Instagram filter).
Despite the questionable photography choices, this was really, really good. There's a great recipe from Chefsteps that I used. I've made sous vide chuck roasts before, but trimming it up and reassembling it made a huge difference to the final product: it was absolutely prime rib-like in taste and texture. Their idea of using the juices from the bag to make an au jus was also a great one, and I'll probably continue to use it when I make pan sauces in the future (and might save it to freeze).

The German food from @Brisketexan and @PantsTent inspired me to see if I could fix my rinder rouladen recipe, and I was super pleased with the results. For those sadly impoverished souls who might not be familiar, it's basically a pickle wrapped in bacon wrapped in mustard slathered meat that gets braised, then served with brown gravy.
It tastes like pot roast, but if pot roast was more deliciously complex and tasted better. Also there's pickle, which is completely non-optional. Removing it is like putting beans in chili.
