But I know of what you speak. Huggy Bear works the refs and forces them to work, in return.

Didn't watch your game but noticed there were a combined 73 free throws. Christ, that's not good basketball. Glad y'all won.

That is really the only way he knows to coach.  Look at his teams at Cincinnati, which often resembled a prison rec-league, and then when he came back home to replace Beilein. But this was perfect for him because it was how Big East basketball was played for 20+ years.  There was as much or more contact in a Big East basketball game as in a football game, but the refs let it go and let them play for the most part.  We don't have the talented guard play like we did in recent years (since Javon Carter left when he turned 35) so Huggy can't play the press, but we do have probably the most talented big man in Oscar Tshiebwe who ever set foot on campus.  He's just a true freshman and if you get a chance to watch him it is really sweet.  He is good and getting better each game.

  2. The Soviet watches are quite a rabbit hole.  I've got a Raketa moon phase NOS.  The real ones are what I call "shitastick" , and there are now also tons of Chinese counterfeits of them out there.  Hope you are doing well my friend.

Help me understand the original logo so I can laugh harder than I am now.

It is the logo for a small private elementary school.  I'm afraid dickbutt, though glorious, probably won't fly.  The head master will be seeing it privately though.

  4. Lol, the CA is the logo of the place I need it for.  They are doing a western theme event coming up and trying to get a picture and the headmaster of the school thought it would look good to have a spur drawn or photoshoped coming off of it.   Beiber is great and it will be shown, but he is a tool not a spur....lol

Good to see you back. Stick around for the rest of the season.

Yea, I will.  Could you imagine if we could have 4 years of Oscar Tshiebwe vs Udoka Azubuike? It would be similar to Sampson vs Ewing 35 years ago during their college years.

    Long time no see, Whitman.

Yeah, I took some time off.  I promised myself when we moved over here that I wouldn't enter CR, went in to look around, and like an idiot, engaged.  My fault, lesson learned.  Decided to take some time off, didn't even realise it had been a year.  I spent the time concentrating on masturbation and incest porn which is much healthier than CR.  It's interesting looking around (not CR) who is still here and not and the still ongoing threads.

Who is in charge of the review? Larry? Moe? Curly?

They have put a big name in charge,  James Naismith, and will now sit back and wait for the report.

  8. Would like some help with photoshop if y'all can.  On the end of the CA logo, where the "A" is crossed with the wavy line, to the right of it I need a western spur stuck out and put on it.  I have a couple of spurs here too if you don't have a better one.   If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.

going to check out Scurfa right now.

    I

Just a cool little company.  I wanted to add a quartz to my collection and also wanted a diver.  My mechanicals are all German but really didn't like the Sinn UT,  or more affordable Zeppelin or Bruno Solne.  Also wanted to stay away from Miyota movements (nothing wrong with them, just wanted to try and keep them Swiss or German), and Scurfa uses the Swiss Ronda 715  movement in their quartz watches.  Simply put, just one hell of watch for the price.  Bezel movement is smooth too.

Read up on Paul Scurfield's background as a deep sea diver and his objective in starting the company.   Of course the struggle will be that this D-1 "only" has a rating of 500 meters, so if it falls off or I go past 1,640 feet, it could leak.  It's a good think my pool is only 8' deep.....just saying....

  10. This past year I add this 45mm Laco Friedrichshafen Bronze flieger, as well as nice little quartz diver from a small company in the UK named Scurfa. I put it on a black Nato with a yellow stripe.  The 45mm Laco sits nice on my 8" wrist. Wasn't sure I could wear one that large, but it is fine.  Wear both of these quite a bit.

I thought I had it wrapped up last night but apparently "my feet are too cold" for it to have happened.  That was a new one.

Really not a good start to the year when so far Tim Tebow is getting more than you.

    very nice

Thanks!  This little venture into these has opened my eyes into what and how much is out there in mechanical watches and reading up on them.  I could see where it could become addictive if not kept in check.

90% of THIS Senate is that same as THAT Senate.

Are you stating that the exact same individuals would not vote the same way they did just a couple weeks ago when knowing full well that they'll get fried for not doing so? Maybe the Republican base is that dumb.

I don't know how they each would vote now.  Hell, I never know which way Manchin is going to vote on every bill even though he is a Democrat.  He's all over the place whether he needs to appease the conservative base back home or his caucus needs his vote.   I do know that they only need 67 total, not the 100 they got mentioned above (assuming they can also get 2/3 of the house for the over-ride).

    you obtuse or something?

this bill that the house passed, and that mcconnell will not allow up for a vote was 100-0 in FAVOR in the senate, before trump said he did not support it. IT WAS THE COMPROMISE!

fucking goddammit, why do i respond to idiots and trolls?

Not obtuse, just pointing out that people like to play with or omit words.   You did here too when you left out the word "THIS" before senate.  And now that Trump won't support it, I don't know what the vote would be.  Parties seem to stick together for good or bad.
