  5. LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Raiders have secured access to nearly three times the number of parking spots they estimate will be needed on NFL game days at Allegiant Stadium. Those spots will average $75 on game day, ranging from $40 to $100, and people holding personal seat licenses will have the option to reserve spots. Raiders President Mark Badain said the Raiders have 13,000 parking spots under their control, and another 22,000 at nearby resorts. The team estimates it needs about 12,000 within a mile of the stadium. The spots will cost an average of $75, ranging from $40 to $100, Badain said. An announcement at 10 a.m. Thursday provided information on parking, buses and walking access to the stadium. Tailgating was another topic addressed. Badain encouraged fans who want to tailgate to arrive early on game days. Plans for “Deuce” buses — doubledecker buses used by the Southern Nevada Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) — include a schedule to run every 15 minutes from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The Hacienda bridge over I-15 will be reserved for people walking to the game. The Raiders open their preseason on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Allegiant Stadium against the Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. The regular season opens Monday, Sept. 13, at Allegiant Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens. Kickoff is 5:15 p.m. Badain, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, RTC CEO M.J. Maynard and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino President and COO Chuck Bowling attended today’s announcement at the stadium.

  7. Good rooms. Also easy walk to Bellagio. Would stay there again.
  8. Think the pools/cabanas were newly renovated. Friend stays there a lot and currently waiting for the Prestige/concierge lounge to reopen for 7 days/week. I’ve hung out in that and it’s quite nice for food/drinks and game watching. Great service.
  9. LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- In anticipation of live music returning to Fremont Street Experience on June 1, officials have released the performance schedule. According to officials, for the first time in over a year, guests will be able to experience free nightly music under the upgraded Viva Vision screen. All three stages at Fremont Street Experience "will be rocking again" starting at 12:01 a.m. on June 1. The performances will go on until 4 a.m., according to a release. As a community and one of the largest tourist destinations in the nation, we are beyond thrilled to be part of the highly anticipated re-opening of Las Vegas,” said Andrew Simon, President and Chief Executive Officer for Fremont Street Experience. “To support our local artists, revive our community and revel in the beauty of live events again, we chose to open our stages the moment we were given the green light, and we can’t wait to see you there.” After the June 1 opening, free nightly entertainment will continue throughout the year at Fremont Street Experience. 11. Virgin: Paradise-seeking party people might not actually be able to go to Mykonos this year because of linger travel restrictions — but they’ll be able to enjoy a slice of the Greek island in Las Vegas. With nightlife making its return in the US, we’re told nightlife gurus Mio Danilovic, Jason “JROC” Craig and Michael Fuller, are getting set to open the highly anticipated Élia Beach Club at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The new daylife venue will officially open its doors as part of the hotel’s grand opening celebration weekend on June 10, we hear. Élia Beach Club is named for Mykonos’ largest beach, known for its clear, blue surf and scenic sandy landscape. “Élia Beach Club emanates those sensations through its ambiance,” we’re told. Backers say guests will be “[transported] to an international paradise with sounds by some of the best DJs in the world.” It’ll begin with DJ residencies this summer including Deadmau5, Lane 8, Soffi Tukker, Ben Böhmer, Laidback Luke, Chris Mallinchak, Sultan & Ned and more. Soffi Tukker & Sam Blacky, Lane 8, Loco Dice and DeadMau5 will play the opening weekend, we’re told. This isn’t the first time Danilovic has flirted with tropical transportation. The Miami nightlife honcho, one the team behind South Beach’s Rockwell, recently opened Joia Beach in Miami, which is supposed to evoke a jungle-like feel. https://pagesix.com/2021/05/31/miami-nightlife-gurus-to-open-mykonos-themed-club-in-vegas/
  12. It’s the same deal at many restaurants all over the country right now, they can’t hire enough employees. So all the tables aren’t even being used. We know the demand is back, but hopefully this employee issue fades soon.
  13. I thought so too but the replay showed it hit the tree and kicked back out
