Slight derail from the tragic thread topic, but I'm curious about fake crying from the pulpit. I this something one practices prior to the sermon to improve? Is it a method form of preaching? Do seminaries of certain branches cover this in a class? How does the congregation 'rate' and respond to the crying exactly? Join in? Three times does seem a little excessive even for an event of such import as Easter, so were the tears of joy? Anger? Sorrow? Each one for a different paragraph?

I'm being a bit cheeky, but the homily/sermon (IMO) is the message that is often relatable to the particular event/theme as well as meet the needs of the listeners to inspire them.  I don't think this preacher would find me a good listener to his sermon.

He was describing the lashings once, I don’t remember the other two exactly.  He does this four times that day for the other services I’m guessing.  It was just so fake.

More coaches should make a spectacle in front of the team and have their son film it to put it on social media?

Yes, it wasn’t their first warning I’m guessing..  Either they decide to get a degree or they keep fucking off and see where that takes them in life.  Many ex college non nfl level players probably wish their coach didn’t just let them coast by now and wished they showed they gave a shit.

  3. I went to church with a girl I’ve been dating on Easter.  After I’m like that preacher is hiding something, he’s either hiding he’s gay or diddles kids, something is off because he’s way too fake (he fake cried like three times)...  Went this week again and dude went on a you’re mental ill if you’re gay rant, definitely closeted.    lol

Bumping this because his posts for today’s eclipse cracked me up. He is either a good troll or a very special person

Pretty sure he’s just special….  He’s a gambling genius though, just bet the opposite way that he picks.

In this aspect, more coaches should be like Deion.  Ex football players that don’t make the pros are often in for the rude awakening of real life and they fail at it.

I get teased daily that I’m the Rainey Street Ripper. I mean it’s cool bc now my inbox isn’t flooded with crap anymore. Plus, I’m notorious now.

I’ve been on X lately a lot more bc I’m following a case of a young boy in Tennessee who went missing. He has autism. Someone very close to me has autism and this particular case strikes a chord with me. At any rate, most people are good people that follow this case.

but There are a few though that will find every tweet you make and attack you for thinking his mom/stepdad might be guilty. I used to respond to those attacks. It’s not like they stopped attacking and they agreed with me they just kept posting and attacking and I’d attack back.

and it derailed a very good thread regarding theories and information on this young boy. Finding him is so important. After that I no longer acknowledge. I just ignore. And keep ignoring. I don’t block anyone on the chance they might have good info but now that I ignore people instead of trying to make them agree with me, it doesn’t bother me anymore and it won’t derail threads. The OP can deal with it. Jmo. My two cents that no one asked for ever.

Looking forward to returning to Austin at some point and hanging out in the entertainment district. Check out the lake and order some Chilean sea bass (the epitome of class and elegance in fine dining.)

I just watched the Netflix doc called unexplained.  There’s an episode on five guys that disappeared in the 80’s in Northern California.  Watch the episode then tell me what you think..  I’m trying to make a reboot of the mind of the killer show…. lol.   No I’d like your conspiracy theory view on it when to me,  it was wtf is this on this show at all?

    What a load of shit

So in a casual conversation it had to have sounds more casual and easier than, it had it to of been..   That’s a load of shit.   I’m not saying it’s proper but come on…

This kind of shit is how we get "for all intents and purposes" and "I could care less" and "get untracked."

Don’t think it’s quite that far down the line..   It had to of been him  vs it had to have been him.  Which rolls quicker and gets the point across and which takes extra work and sounds like, I’m definitely an over 50 male white AF?  Yea if I’m talking to someone over 50 I’ll use have…..

    holy shit

”Had to have”. Is that what you’re trying to say, here?

Yea I don’t give a shit about proper English on a message board….  Had to of is the slang version I grew up with in a small town in Texas and still use in conversation. It rolls off the tongue much easier than saying had to have and I’m not at work right now so fuck off.

Depending on how much Rock wants to actually wrestle, if you have him turn on Reigns during/after the match (Cody can still win clean and Rock turns after Reigns fails to finish the job), you could have Rock take over as tribal chief, feud with Rhodes till Summerslam where Cody retains cleanly, then Rock and Reigns settle the tribal chief role at next year's wrestlemania.

Rock is filming a movie on Mark Kerr (ufc guy) after mania. It feels like Roman takes a break after so who knows what happens to the bloodline.

  10. It’s going to feel odd without Derka around. He’s been on the same site as some of us for twenty years. I see both points but to me he’s a net positive for the board and has definitely gotten better over the years.  I’ve disagreed with him before of course, but I’ve never had a problem with him because I don’t sit there and keep egging him on like many do.  People have been combative with him for no reason for years just because they know they can get under his skin.  Some posters are much worse than Derka and it seems like a 1/4th of their post are calling people dumbass, ect and straight up attacking people.  Also doesn’t bother me because I just keep scrolling because people with that much hate must be miserable in their everyday life.

  11. Watched the replay of the HOF for Paul Heyman’s speech, which was really good.  He’s the first one so you don’t have to scroll thru to find it.
