That's exactly what happened; the question is, was it Boeing or Alaska? Apparently, Alaska guts the airplane upon delivery for wifi installation. We'll know soon enough. The Airworthiness Directive is a one-time check. UAL will have completed inspections on the fleet by the end of today.

I am really surprised it was Alaska Airlines that fucked up.  They are held to pretty high regards from what I know on their standards.  If it was Spirit or RyanAir I would understand but Alaska?   Some heads are gonna roll for this one

Pressure/depressurizing cycles puts alot of fatigue on connections, and id bet my bottom dollar one of the bolts that held the plug in place wriggled it's way free. Since it was a recently manufactured place, off the line in Nov 2023, there's gonna be one hell of a maintenance and torque checking regimine to recertify those airframes. Manufacturing defects like that rarely happen as a singleton

I bet my bottom dollar NTSB finds out there were no bolts installed and QA/QC ate a dick

Since the age of this aircraft could be measured in weeks, what does an airline do when they take possession of a new plane? I assume there is an intensive possession checklist if not maintenance effort.

That's why I am surprised.  One of my favorite books is called Black Box Thinking and it dives into.  Hey are we fucking up.  It takes airlines minutes to say.  Yeah we fucked up because they are willing to be extremely critical of themselves.  You do that with the medical industry and they say well let's cover this one up.  My analysis on why the industry is so different is usually when a pilot fucks up.  He isn't alive to defend himself anymore

I don't understand why you are giving yourself a headache over this.  Print your own card and keep it in your wallet.  Also keep a digital copy on your phone.  What they want to do with their insur card is their own business

Bibi is trying to have the war last long enough for him to be seen more as the tough leader who defeated Hamas instead of the want-to-be dictator who ignored security and let the Hamas terrorist massacre/debacle happen.

There was an interview he had last year right after election.  He talked about his dead brother and it had a very Putin feeling to it.  He wants a lasting legacy of the savior of Israel.  Like he wanted it to happen

So the Ford is wrapping up her first full-length deployment, both as a ship, and as the lead ship of her class, and it's been relatively smooth, and they should be mothballed?

What is the function of an aircraft carrier?  To land aircrafts right?  Well 6 years later they aren't any closer to landing an F35C on the Ford yet.  You know that deployment was completely with F/A-18s.  Minimal sorties.  I'll let you guess the reason why.  Newest carrier can't have the newest planes land on it.  How quaint

The ads are crap, too. Your hair will grow like crazy, try this! I have plenty of hair on my head and I shave my balls so why do I want to click through on your stupid as shit idea? And how the fuck does this "idea" make money anyway?

And what the fuck is up with everything being a hack? No, that's not a cheesecake hack. It is called a fucking recipe. You can even find them online if you bothered to do a search. And no that's not a diabetes hack. It's a fucking diet you fat fuck. As a matter of fact, if I hear that word "hack" one more time, I'm gonna set up a tiktok trap in my yard to catch all the youngins in my neighborhood and send them on a flight hack to another country.

You know the ads are targeted.  Are you trying to find a cheesecake hack or something while growing out your hair?

  8. Yeah.  It is easier to make something with 20 people than it is to maintain something with 80,000 employees.  The FB data base is at something like 1 billion users a day.  That's a lot of maintaining.  Monetization is a driver but it is also to put out a good end user product.  I hate ads but without ads you'd have to pay for it.  Then everyone is bitching that they have to pay for stuff.
