  1. Can we please just hold CJ out of practice until the Astros win the WS again? Some of us are old enough to remember what happened the last time a rookie QB for the Texans was tearing it up in October....

  7. That wasn't on him as much as the pass protection, but the ball did look like it slipped out of his hand as he threw it.

  17. you're going to have to email the manager
  18. I'm sure some of y'all already saw this. That team is soft and this dumbass saying that publicly is an indictment of their manager and the leaders in the clubhouse.
  19. Exactly none of us should take this Padres team lightly at MMPU. They could easily come in a do what NYY did. But at least they are a terrible road team (27-39) and have lost 4-10 on the road since Aug 1. Something's gotta give here, and hopefully it's our streak of playing like shit at home.
  20. how
  21. this is where i'm at as well. I'm on record as a "Dusty defender" insofar as I believe baseball outcomes are always determined by players and not managers and the latter get too much credit/blame relative to wins and losses, but the play of Yainer Diaz and Chas McCormick this year and their usage by the manager is challenging my belief system. It really is indefensible to not have those two guys in the lineup every day right now with the division title on the line. But yeah, the timing of this is very suspect by Chandler Rome and it often feels as if he has a personal agenda.
