8 conference games has worked out so well for all these years, if tv money doesn’t boost something large, there is really no reason to go to 9 and possibly lose a team or 2 to the playoffs.

Personally I want 9. Playing ball state in November with single game tickets for $35 isn’t something I would travel for.

Would you trade that ball state game for a playoff appearance? I would, and until the rest of CFB stops rewarding the SEC for doing it, I think it’s smart.

OU tickets up to $200 each. These were like $150 just two years ago and you don’t have to go back that much farther for like $110. Kind of eating away at the value proposition on season tickets, but hey, I paid it so good for them.

And they are increasing the amount held back for the university/visitors/recruits etc. Combining that with the price per ticket skyrocketing and top donors getting more tickets guaranteed, the value prop has basically disappeared.

This is a terrible opinion and you should feel terrible for having it.

The LHN has allowed the airing of an incredibly higher number of Longhorn events with a dedicated network that I can tune into immediately without having to pay for this streaming package then that one, etc. Being embarrassed because ESPN didn't try to sell advertising is a you problem.  You sound like the babies worrying that other fanbases are laughing at us every time we have a coaching search. Who gives a shit?

    You can tune into LHN?

I love how if CW were equal to Quinn that he's riding the pine and can't beat out that kid who looks like he goes to dialysis on Tues and Thurs. But sure, he's an equal talent that Jimbo is just waiting to unleash to the world after being 3-3 instead of, you know, letting him loose in game 1? Fucking morons

It’s because the aggy boosters haven’t made the call to start CW yet /s

Where is the Champions Club now? I was gifted some passes for the season.

It used to be PAC, but I heard it moved. Is that correct? Thanks!

Its in San Jac now. Last week it was terrible but they sent an email out this week saying they are making improvements..

In our constant effort to improve the Champions Club gameday experience, please note that the number of food and beverage points of sale have been increased, as well as the expanded outdoor patio for seating.

As a friendly reminder, the new location of Champions Club is in San Jacinto Residence Hall. Located just off Bevo Blvd. across San Jacinto Blvd. near Gate 1 on the southwest corner of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Please look for the Longhorn Foundation flags at the entrance.

San Jacinto Hall includes a climate-controlled, indoor hospitality space with full-service bars and food buffets for purchase (with the availability of cahsless line options). Family-friendly activities, flat screen TVs and a pregame pep rally led by Texas Cheer & Pom will remain essential components of your gameday hospitality experience.
