But what do I know.

1-2 in these Texas cardhouses can be difficult, because often they're not really 1-2 games. Some tables there's a straddle every hand and standard raise is $25. Some tables the standard raise is $7. Some tables have 3/4 players willing to put their stack in on every hand.
If you're in an action table, if it goes limp limp limp min-raise and you have AA try shoving in all your chips for a massive overbet. Someone will always call with J-10 suited or 8-8 or something like that. Otherwise you'll have to play those aces in a multi-way pot and some donkey will flop two pair on you because they called a 15x raise with 4-5 suited. And when you bet big unless you're balancing your range everyone assumes your range is AA, KK, QQ, or AK, so your cards are kind of face up.

1-2 is hard to play if you're not getting cards. But if you're getting cards put your chips in! They almost always call.

Happy Thanksgiving Shagsters!
And if you voted for that corrupt, dishonest piece of shit in the White House . . . Happy Thanksgiving to you too. But if you're going to vote, then please try to put a little more thought into it.

Elections have consequences.

I loved the scene where he went John Marston on everyone.

FWIW, I got Disney+ today just because Baby Yoda is everywhere. Watched all three episodes. Solid show.

And then river is whatever suit makes the flush or the 7 or 8 and you lose.
Ha, close. I put them all in and they were both chasing flushes -- one to the Q and one to the K.
River was a Q, and I had a boat. Just glad one of them didn't have Q-6 or Q-4 or some shit like that.

Democrats have to impeach. That's why the American people gave the House to them.

I moved this last year and my U.S. Representative is now Will Hurd. I just sent him a strongly-worded letter.

If there's anyone who already believed that, there's nothing that's going to change their mind.

We need to investigate Barr, Pompeo, Pence, and our dear ex-Governor, Rick Perry.

I’m not sure why some of you expect people to be “permanently” turned off to the GOP.
Most of the country didn't think George W. was a "bad" person. Most of the country thinks Trump is a horrible, immoral piece of shit. Most of the country is extremely uncomfortable with having him in the Oval Office. And the Republicans have shown that they'll support him no matter what. They will lie, distort, ignore, and spin 100% of the time.
These last three years have taught people a lesson they'll remember in their bones.

Yeah but for the Republican Party today the existential threat is every American who doesn't believe 100% like they do.

If things continue the way they are in Texas, and a lot more Republicans in power get the shit scared out of them, including loss of US Congressional House and more state legislative seats, Texas is going to get so ugly for an election cycle or two.
But, there's not much Republicans in Texas can do to stem the tide, and in fact, they are running a serious risk of flipping it even sooner if they keep acting like fucking idiots.
A rational GOP in Texas would be looking at flipping all of these younger voters and out-of-staters over to the GOP.
The GOP isn't rational, and instead, they are going to make it as difficult as possible to vote for a lot of people, and that's going to serve two purposes - turn these people permanently off to the GOP, and motivate people to get out and vote.
The Texas GOP is causing the flip.

Can't say I play a lot of Omaha, or understand it much, but there's nothing like holding the nut straight and middle set, 7-8-5-5 on a Q-5-4-6 board, on the button, with a pot sized bet and a call.

We've known that third bullet for years.

Out of curiosity, was this person the least bit receptive to the new info that you were trying to share? Was he willing to open his eyes a bit or did he just bring up Hillary's emails? My experience is these people are so brainwashed that they are not even willing to consider that there is more going on then what Fox News is telling them.
Yeah he was receptive. He responded “that sounds really bad.”

Does Mazars have any exposure to financial fraud by Trump? Could they be considered complicit in certain instances?
Yes.

Going to put this here. I had a conversation with an older, successful, intelligent Trump voter and we started talking about the impeachment hearings. Long story short, he was very misinformed, and he was shocked when I told him what was actually going on. He gets all his news from Fox.
Talk to people. Tell them what's going on.

Yep. Look what the investigation of Hillary did and she was eventually cleared.
Things don't work the same way for Republicans though. Like Trump, they can be dirty, they can be constantly under investigation, they can grab pussies, etc. Nothing will undo them as their voters really seem to require no ethical behavior at all from their representatives.
Yeah but you see, Obama was black.
