Yes, long established legal precedent of leadership being able to void legal contracts, how have we not taken this course of action.
Perhaps part of the issue is that Mobilehoma is part of this deal and maybe they didn't have the legal horsepower, couldn't afford the buyout or wasn't in a position to leave early (for whatever reason?)

Great show! Amazing to see how all this went down.
Why isn't Paramount pimping this more? It's excellent.

Anybody watching this? It's on Netflix. I'm a few episodes in and I'm liking it so far.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this monstrosity was the Co-op statues. My god that was an amazing time on Shaggy.
^^ this. Some of the funniest posts and photoshops I've ever seen. Lost hours of work and never laughed so hard.

That's some serious bullshit right there! The radio crew works for the university/athletic department not the conference. Tech should tell Bowlsby to fuck off and that they decide who is calling their games.

Agreed. Really liking the alternate history and the last few episodes have really turned it up. Every time Tracy (who's hot) goes into that airlock to smoke I just know someone is going to accidentally shot her out the airlock.
Ed's wife Karen is pretty hot too. She looks a little like Meghan Markle.

Yeah, this movie and the story were complete trash. Nothing good about it at all. First one was pretty good, this one a complete bomb.

+1 for The Outsider. Excellent show.
For me, Mandalorian S2 was just outstanding. Top on the list.
Also, the last four episodes of season seven of the Clone Wars was excellent.
Any love for Expanse Season Five? I know it just started and won't finish until next year so maybe a 2021 entry?

Watching that episode made me realize something. They really should have made a sequel trilogy after Return of the Jedi. Just think of all the cool shit we could have seen Luke doing. The possibilities would have been endless.
I wonder why they never made those movies? Oh well.
Unfortunately the movie version of the Timothy Zahn Thrawn trilogy book series was never made. That's what you are looking for. An awesome read if you have the time. In fact, all of Zahn's Star Wars books are incredible. There are a few prequel stores and even one with the 501st.
Obviously, Thrawn was in the Rebels series and most recently mentioned by Ahsoka in the Mandalorian episode she appeared in so Filoni obviously recognized a great character.

I don't give one fuck about the opinions of people who think Rian Johnson made a good Star Wars movie.
^^^^ this right here!
Last night's episode was awesome! It's what star wars shows should be. Seriously, this show just delivers. It doesn't have some social justice agenda, it's just good storytelling with compelling content. Special effects are big budget movie quality, plenty of action with some comedy and heartwarming moments thrown in. Finally, it adds some unexpected surprises too. Bonus is it has bad-ass babes kicking ass too.
For me, it's exactly what I want from Star Wars. Perfect show.

I'm telling you it will be Mace who shows up to save them all (including Boba.) Boba then loses his shit and tries to kill Mace because he watched him chop his dad's head off.

Well, we know the next episode will be springing Mayfield from prison. The in the finale we'll probably have a cliffhanger with the team getting their ass kicked by the Dark Troopers and Gideon. With Grogu still in captivity and the team barely getting away (maybe casualties of Cara, Fennec, Mayfield, etc.) In the final scene, we'll see some cloaked figure approach the Jedi temple with the only reveal being a mechanical hand. Everyone thinks it is Luke but it is probably the rumored to be alive Mace Windu. We won't know who until next year.

This is the team with the most rookies active. I think there may be only one or two guys over the age of 30 on this squad. Just goes to show you that if you’re a baller you can make it work. Mayfield is not a baller.
Spot on. Minshew is 100x the player Mayfumble will ever be.

Frickin Minshew is 19/20 with 3 TDs!

I would keep WVU and send Baylor away. I had a great time in Morgantown and I like the WVU fans I have met. Waco is a total shithole and Baylor's rape enabling/murder cover up-ing/cat killing asses can go fuck themselves. 99.9% of Baylor fans I have met are complete and utter shit heads as well.
This exactly!

the Pac-12's weakness is that its weakest programs (Cal, post-Leach Washington State and Oregon State-- Oregon would be on that list too if not for Phil Knight) don't have nearly as much money to invest as the weakest programs in the Big Ten (Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Rutgers, Maryland).
Add Colorado to that list. It was a shit show recently with losing their coach...

I agree with this, plus Tech's schedule is tough with six games against pre-season ranked squads - two are out of conference so they're not starting with three wins before conference play starts.
I think it takes a couple of years for McGuire and Kittley to get better talent and the team adjusted to the new program.
