I saw it. Was better than I expected.

Lots going on in this video:
1. I need the name and number of the future Mrs. Loose Stool and her abilities
2. The people around giving zero fucks watching this dude fall
3. Her zero fucks given reaction
4. Her reaction at the very end...

Still waiting for season 2 of Alcatraz on fox.
Haha! This ^^^

Saw it yesterday and it met expectations. Lots of fights, shit getting torn up, people dying, plot holes, etc. - the usual action movie stuff. There is even a after credit scene. Don't go in thinking it will win any awards and you will be fine.

DAFUQ? Well, the bagman at KU must not have matched their offer...

Just turn off the “predictive” setting and it will still check spelling etc.

Also a new ST series coming up, surrounding Picard. Going to be on CBS AA. I can't remember all the details, but IIRC it will first air later this year? Discovery has been fucking nuts. Loving the shit out of it. But that's another thread.
Orville has me hooked. It's a tick cheese, with some humor, and an interestingly deep intermingling with characters. I agree not every episode is a 10, but at worst it's a 5 and only a very few are there. The 2-parter was insane, as was the doc fucking Issac. Series starting off with Kelly fucking an alien and spinning down Mercer's world was a solid beginning point. It wasn't a breakout episode, but most pilots aren't overly great. Very few shows can grab you by the balls from the start, and never let go. Too much character introduction and setups need to happen.
If they can keep from fucking it up, I think they could have a solid run. It won't be leading the ratings, but it will be solid enough to let it run its natural course.
Agree with all this.

It wasn't bad. It was very bland though. That story has been done before, and better.
Pretty much this. It was just OK and a bit long.

Nice win for the Clones! Glad KU didn't win it.

True, the Expanse is quite good as well. I believe it comes back on Amazon Prime in the fall?

Orville has picked up steam. I'm just glad we have two good SciFi shows on right now. Hope they are both renewed for season 3.
-
Agreed. It has been excellent so far.

I've watch it since it first aired. Obvious TNG feel to it with humor and real life mixed in. I'm not surprised that some of the episodes were based on un-aired Star Trek episodes.
Some of the season 2 episodes were duds but overall, it is a strong series. This latest 2 part story has been great. Hope they renew it for season 3.
Side note: I really like Discovery too. Happy that we are getting two good sci-fi shows right now with the expanse coming back on Amazon as well.

Got divorced after 21 years of marriage and have been single the last three years. I've had more sex in the last 24 months than I have in the last 20 years of marriage. I have a steady girlfriend and we're 5+ times per week. Someone above mentioned vacations and yes, it's usually twice per day on vacation. I feel for all you married guys as i was lucky to get it once per month while married - the math usually worked out to probably 5-8 times per year. Sad, really.
So, yeah, she took 1/2 my shit but I'm getting laid almost daily like a king now...Profit!
P.S. - I've found that divorced chicks in their late 30's early 40's are horny.

Watched it last night. It had potential but ended up being just OK. Decent enough movie, had some good fight scenes and showed some T&A.

That dude needs to learn to edit a video. We don’t need a 2 minute prologue of him running before the bear encounter.
No kidding. That video could have been 20 seconds at most.

Uh, Venables was the guy that was there when OU had a pretty salty defense. Once he left, they fell apart when it was just Stoops running the show. Last I heard, he wasn't doing too badly at Clemson either.
This!

Based on how stone dead quiet this has been, with the regular "in the know" people not even knowing, I'm betting it's Venables and there won't be any announcement until after the ACC championship game.
That would be a home run hire for Tech so it's likely not going to happen.

I saw it and thought it was really good. Had some very funny parts too. I am starting to feel a bit of the overdose on the Marvel movies but for the most part, they have all been at least very good to great.
Too bad we can't get this level of quality out of the star wars franchise.
