Did anyone else's significant other make things worse during the meltdown by acting like a gigantic bitch getting upset all of a sudden and having to worry about their shit or was that something only I got to enjoy in addition to what happened on the field

No. My wife made things better after the meltdown with her, um, attentiveness to my needs .... in bed.

I’ve seen pretty much all of my teams win titles: Longhorn football, Longhorn baseball and the Astros.  Thanks to Bud the Oilers will never win one and I no longer watch the NFL except to follow former Horns.  The only good thing I have to say about Bud is that because of him at least we didn’t have to deal with the shitshow that is Jeff Fisher.

Not old enough to remember the 1960 or 1961 AFL championship?

Mack never lost post ou losses and that’s why he won 10 games every year. I would have loved to see Mack have the shot to play ou a second time.

lets see if Herman gets this team focused and pissed off to get a rematch.

You're kind of leaving out the end of Mack's time in Austin, huh? Take 2010 where he lost to OU then every team after it not named Florida Atlantic or Nebraska. That would be ISU, BU, KSU, OSU, and aggy. Or take 2011 when he lost to OU then OSU, Mizzou, KSU, and BU.

We came out very unprepared offensively in both of these games.  2nd half offense adjustments were great.  Defense fucked us in both games by immediately giving up a back breaking TD.

    1st half LSU - 7 points on 208 yards
    2nd half LSU - 31 points on 357 yards

    1st half OU - 3 points on 88 yards
    2nd half OU - 24 points on 282 yards

Did Tom talk about why we don't bother playing offense in the first half?
