True if that is what people did, but they don't.

Well, you make that part mandatory. Freedom isn't free.

I loathe the stories that talk about how minorities and other poors can't develop generational wealth. I would much rather see people who work, but die young, have something to give their kids. It would be enough for a house down payment, for example.

Well gee whiz, you've solved it.  It's almost like average American's are just great with money, Warren Buffett's in the making if not for that pesky social security payroll deduction, which is why so many of them wind up dependent on social security.  Never mind the other atrocious consequences of this "plan".  The average American retires now with less than 150k in total assets, but sure let's have them without a safety net.

The average american has paid 12% of his salary, lifetime, into a retirement fund that holds no assets. Take that money and invest it, you have 3 to 4 times the amount you otherwise get from Uncle Sugar. A sucker is born every minute I guess.

He views practice as optional.  I don't think its worth it even for the laughs.

I can't disagree. I also can't understand 20 year old stupidity. The NFL don't play like that. He is a top draft based on physical attributes. He can be top ten only if he is a feature WR next year in a great passing offense and cleans up his reputation.

But tigers don't change their stripes. I lean towards fuck that guy. Sometimes the Aggy stain doesn't wear off.

In a word, bullshit.  What planet are you on?  Sure, this will get real support

Here is a simple proposition. Call it Retirement Choice. You can give your money to a bankrupt government, or take the same money and put it in your own account and invest it. What do you think most people would do? Now consider most people, once the budget is balanced, will be getting back far less in nominal dollars than they paid (especially minorities).

Social Security only continues because it is mandatory. The supposed "public support" disappears if there is any element of freedom to choose.

R’s have to call it an entitlement program to fire up their base and fund raise. Next they’ll be saying the blacks and mexicans are over paid !

Because minorities die at a younger age. Blacks collect on average until 72 years, while Asian Americans collect until 84.

But once they cut benefits, then you are getting back far less than you put in, especially if you are black or brown. Which destroys the entire legitimacy of the program.

By the way, if you can just "cut benefits" at will, then obviously the idea of a "lock box" is ludicrous. We have a unified budget

We are borrowing almost 50% of every dollar spend and we are at peak economic growth. Social Security is eating itself and public support will evaporate once people realize they have been defrauded once again. Your scenario is not far off.

  7. It is going to be a ROUGH three years for them. Elko CANNOT recruit. Imagine knowing you fired Jimbo, only to get someone who is objectively worse, and pay tens more millions for the privilege. He's driving away any talent they might have had. You can't compete in the SEC without talent, and they aren't going to have it.

It's like moving in with your girlfriend, signing a lease, and realizing later that day you have to break up with her.

Spent 10 hours on the road in a cargo van thought for sure by now these idiots would have posted at least one new member on their 2024 coaching staff site of immense loneliness but nope.

These absolute bozorons are actually going to make it to Wednesday with the OC in limbo and no DC aren't they?

They have a game in 9 days, with Christmas in the middle. I am guessing they've decided to go with whomever they already have, ain't no way to get new people in for all that. It's gonna be like when we had 6 total offensive linemen, that didn't go so well.

Pretty bullish on the price after watching this. $1T in ETFs globally. If 1% of that is passively allocated into BTC etfs that’s $100B slowly over the course of a year.  At the current price of 40k that’s 2.5 million BTC. There’s not that many sellers out there. Price will have to go substantially higher.

ETF is so bullish for the price that I wonder how they can let it happen, honestly.  Still possibility of some fuckery.

What a complete load of worthless horseshit. Muslims spent centuries carrying the torch of knowledge for mankind while European Christians wallowed in ignorance, superstition, and filth.

There’s nothing inherent in either religion that would make the followers of one more capable of good or evil compared to the other.

Islam does not accept secular government. And the Koran is not Islamophobic. It is clear, for example, that the penalty for homosexuality is death. women are treated like slaves in Islam. Muslims are taught to hate jews and christians. These ideas are not compatible with democracy.
