This is the game where Texas lets ppl know, okay “this isn't the same Texas” . . People are still afraid to act like Texas is really good including “us”!!

I believe Texas makes everyone a believer

    Texas 42

    Kansas 20

You think us winning 42-20 would make everyone a believer?  Half of surly will meltdown if we only win by 22.

From what I've heard, it really is a completely new game with new balancing. Mele builds actually work now, and the game is actually much more complete compared to its paper-mache launch

I think what you are talking about is the 2.0 update, which is free and changes a lot of the game mechanics.  Phantom Liberty is the paid DLC that adds an entire new map area and storyline.

Yeah if it's at least a moderate high ankle sprain and they push him back in 2-4 weeks his mobility will be very limited.

But honestly Max Johnson liked fine back here. He's about as good a backup as they could hope for. Weigman shows flashes but I'm not convinced that in 2023 Johnson is that much of a step down.

I agree there isn't a huge dropoff, but it will be interesting to see once defenses start game planning for Johnson instead of Weigman.  My assumption is that his limitations will start to show.

Did I miss it? Did anyone ask about that critical 4th down decision that was completely stuffed except for Brooks' heads up play? That was a HUGE game changing decision/play.

I keep hearing people say what a huge play that was, but we ended up turning it over on downs 4 plays later anyways, and then Bama scored on their next drive.  It actually didn't change anything.

We will have 2 opportunities in the first 3 weeks to have backups play the 4th. Sark isn't going to waste reps on Murphy if Arch has already supplanted him. Also if Murphy is already falling behind he will want a fresh start in the spring at whatever school takes him. There will be a equal or better option than Murphy in the portal that can push Arch and give some insurance behind him

I disagree.  I think even if Arch is ahead of Murphy, even if Sark knows right now that Arch will be the starter next year, Murphy will take garbage time reps first all year.  If Quinn had a major injury that would be different.

  6. If there a more appropriate thread to discuss tickets, please point me in the right direction.

Family is going to be out of town for the Wyoming game, so I'm thinking about going as a single.  Are there any semi-premium options (more than just space on a bench) I could look at for a couple hundred bucks?

  7. Regarding Wingo and the Missouri NIL law, the supposed benefit is that he can make NIL money in high school if he is committed to an in state school.  Specifically, unless I am misunderstanding, he needs to sign a grant in aid to be eligible.  But a grant in aid doesn't tie the kid to the school, just the school to the kid, and you can sign them with multiple schools.

So what is to stop him from committing to Mizzou and signing the grant in aid, getting the NIL money, and then enrolling somewhere else in January?  Is there really a MIzzou collective that is willing to pay a high school kid without any guarantee he signs there?

    Dear Penthouse Forum,

I never thought it would happen to me, but my wildest fantasy came true.  Me and a buddy had just parked after a long road trip to watch our beloved West Virginia A&T Minutemen take on the World Famous Fightin' Texas Aggies of the Vaunted SEC West.  When we got out of the car, we were confused as to where the stadium was, so these two fine looking gentlemen wearing tobacco spittle-stained maroon Columbia fishing shirts and Jimbo! caps approached us.

They offered us an ice cold Shiner Bock in a Dixie Chicken koozie and a sample of the finest BBQ known to man - a cold Slovacek's sausage wrap.  It was heaven on Earth!  They regaled us with the rich history of Fightin' Texas Aggie SEC football, their awe-inspiring traditions, and the evilness of the worst cretins known to man, the tu shorthorns (teehee).

After the best tailgate ever, they escorted us to our seats in the Zone, the best seats to watch the best marching band ever known to grace a college football field - the Fightin Texas Aggie Marchin' Band!  Whoop!

Although our Minutemen lost the game 16-13 were leading 16-13 after 4 quarters of play, it was obvious that the Fightin' Texas Aggies were the better team, and if play would have continued would have come out on top eventually.  It was the best college football gameday experience of my life, and something I will never forget!

    Signed,

West Virginia A&T's Biggest Aggie Fan!
