22.4 mph is 32.85 feet per second. 40 yards is 120 feet.
120 / 32.85 = 3.65 seconds holy shit he is the fastest human alive

I thought a while ago someone said Hudson was one those kids that didn't like the idea of people knowing or assuming what he was going to do (go to Texas), and so my assumption a couple weeks ago was this Tech talk was a smokescreen to build drama.
Edit: looks like it may be the other way around

I also have team news to provide. I wasn't willing to share until I saw OB's nuggets.

Not true, Sark said there was competition at every position.

Guys transferred schools before the portal. What I remember when this all started was the purpose of the portal was to make the intention to transfer public so other schools would be able to legally contact the players. It was so guys would be able to know all of their options and discuss with multiple schools before making a decision. I didn't think it was actually necessary for a player to enter the portal in order to transfer, especially if they already know where they are going through back channels. Am I wrong and it is necessary to enter the portal to transfer?

Are any potential NIL deals keeping those guys at their current location by year or by semester?
-
In general, what are the requirements of the players in deals like this with a collective? I know with something legitimate like HWH they do charitable work/promotion, but for these other schools where it is essentially pay for play, what do they require to make it look legit?

Regarding point #2, I could see Jimbo dragging that out past the closing date for portal entries.
There is another window in May. Jimbo going through spring practice without an OC would be delicious but I doubt it.

Far be it from me to care about OU looking stupid, but why do you care about looking stupid? Sports fans caring about what other sports fans will think about their team is always the weirdest thing to me. If you want Bowen then you go after Bowen. If he says no then who gives a shit what some people say that made you look like?
You know what makes you look stupid?

I agree. It will also be interesting to see if every other player we recruited contributes. That is why we are here, because we are interested.

Gerry on Derek Williams
Inside Texas still believes there is a chance On3 Consensus 4-star safety Derek Williams signs his NLI Wednesday.
IT spoke with a family member earlier this morning. The response to the question was, "You will just have to wait and see until tomorrow."
IT also spoke with a person at Westgate High in New Iberia, and the answer was "it could go either way"CTJ our machine gun needs a reload

What’s their 2022 total after the current defections?
Removing Denver Harris, Marshall, Bouie, PJ Williams, MGK, and Ish Harris puts it at 322.44.

How is the person that wrote a $3 million check to Rueben Owens going to feel about this hire? Jimbo fulfilling his promise to make changes?

I know Sark hates throwing to stationary WRs, but we threw like an 8 yard curl to Worthy a couple times this year and he was wide open. It should be in the arsenal to keep the defense from locking in on deep routes, and with his quickness Worthy could break a tackle and house it anyways.

I only mentioned Grimes as opposed to every OC looking for a raise because I assume Burton has legit contacts.

Bobby Burton said he was hearing Jeff Grimes as a potential target for aggy OC.

Those guys don't seem to be aware of how shitty their program is going to be for the next couple years. People should know when they are conquered.
