Are you talking about moving from a 1080P to 4K TV?
Or just adding 4K to your streaming plan?

Adding 4K to YTTV isn't worth it, especially on a small TV where you'll barely notice the difference.

Upgrading from a 1080P to 4K TV is worth it.

Thanks for the info!  Just adding 4K to YTTV on a new 4K OLED.  It doesn't sound like it's worth it.

Is it just me or is the Clemson vs. Georgia game on ESPN 4K really dark?

    I'm on Youtube TV.

If I flip to ESPN+ or ABC it looks normal.

edit:  duh, my computer monitor doesn't support HDR, so this is normal.
Looks fine on the big screens.

is 4K worth the upgrade on a 48 OLED?  Been wondering.

btw.... Corso either completely forgot who Texas played, or hes literally calling for the following scenario.

Texas wins against georgia in Oct.  and wins either all other games or loses 1  before the SEC champ game.

then Texas loses in the Champ game to Georgia.

then Texas plays as the 5-8 seed, wins 2 games and plays Georgia in the NC Bowl game and then wins that game against Georgia.

    thats nuts.

Saw Terri Clark at the Ryman last night.  Ashley McBryde and Trisha Yearwood came on for a song apiece with her.  Great show and Teri is pretty easy on the eyes!

I like Tennessee in general and am looking forward to watching Texas play against them in the SEC.  I rarely (never?) interact with Tennessee fans in real life and I don't frequent any internet forums where I'd find them, so don't expect any hostile interactions.

This answer in that reddit thread was pretty funny though:

    also:

    Short answer: yes

Long answer: They are one of the largest brands, fanbases, and wallets in all of college sports. This brand has largely been focused around college football. They have been perpetual underperformers for the past couple of decades and have had basically 3 good seasons to show for it. This has turned them bitter and relying on their traditions to show that they're a great team but are always saying "wait until next year." Next year never comes and they always fall short of expectations. They have been slaughtered by their biggest rival in recent history and their biggest rivals consider them a secondary rival. They have had good seasons but never enough to take the next step. Maybe I just described A&M, maybe they're the same school.

No shit Texas is like the 2nd or 3rd most populous state in the country.  There are a lot more white oriole, black people, Asian folk, queer folk, old dudes, kids, dogs, and on and on than in Tennessee.

I don’t give a fuck about any team but Texas. Hate some, really hate a few. Don’t care about the rest.

Hey, if it weren't for Tennesseans, y'all would be speaking Spanish and illegally crossing the border into the US at the Red River.

I’ve never had conference allegiance and never will.

When you live in Texas, you’re exposed to fan bases that are close to you because it’s such a large state with large population. It’s completely different than all of those tiny moonshine guzzling butt fuck cities in Tennessee.

It doesn’t make sense to compare Nashville to anywhere in Texas.

I am excited about competing against others with lower educational standards. I do believe Texas has a lot of T-shirt fans. The SEC has a ton of T-shirt fans with more passion that can’t spell ‘college.’

Having lived in Austin and Nashville, I can tell you they are very similar.

And there are FAR more rednecks in Texas than in Tennessee.

  8. ...will you start following, hating, making fun of, SEC teams more than BIG12 teams?  For instance, will you be more interested in the success or failure of Auburn, Arky, Miss St, and Vandy  than Baylor, TCU, Tech and UH?

Or will proximity bias still tie you to regional teams rather than conference teams?

I live in Nashville so the Texas teams don't mean shit to me other than how they affect the success of TEXAS athletics and now they don't so I don't give a shit at all.

    Thoughts?
