Just got 6 chicks. Any recs for a good beginner coop? We don't really have time to build one right now. We've been considering this one: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/producers-pride-villa-chicken-coop-12-chicken-capacity

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

The main problem I had with coups similiar to that is getting in there to clean of change food is a pain in the ass if you are over 4 feet tall.... especially if you need to get under where the "house" is

I've gone through about 4 chicken coops so far. These are by far the best and easiest to clean.

I wish I had bought this first.

Ken Rosenthal says that we are in negotiations with CHW for Cease

Might be why they (and alot of other teams) have held off signing Montgomery or Snell. Wonder what the ask is. I'm guessing to would be Leiter or Rocker, Foscue and some one like Walcott or Porter

Also most of them were not nearly as crazy or jaw-dropping as you’d think they are. Especially the older ones, just boringly executed slaughter for the most part. I even think about Omaha Beach on D-Day. Was it an insanely intense and brutal battle? Of course. Was it as frenetic as depicted in Saving Private Ryan? Probably not.

Are you a real person? I'm beginning to wonder.....

The response to Saving Private Ryan was so intense that the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provided a toll-free hotline to aid veterans in coping with their PTSD and any other bad reactions they would experience from watching the film

    Read this.

yes, but maybe not in that theater. Not sure if there is a MEU in the med right now. Those elements rotate a lot and are more focused on the Indo-Pacom region. If there is one to the Atlantic it might be up in Scandinavia with the large exercise going on.

I have been saying there needs to be a non-US/IDF force to protect any beachhead. I would go with the Turks and Moroccans. Maybe toss in a few Western beach commanders.

Canadians since no one hates them.

So you're basically a fly on the wall, but for as longs as you want.  You experience the time, but will have zero effect on yours or anyone else's future as a result of being there.  I'll also assume language barriers aren't a thing.

Watching our forefathers debate the constitution would be cool.  It'd be fun to watch Davinci create some art. Posting up in Utah watching the Dinosaurs do their thing would be pretty epic too.

In the end though, if it's only one thing, under those guidelines, I'm probably following Jesus around. I want to know the real deal, minus 2000 years of religion.

That was my first thought since there really isn't a record of who brought up which ideas. The signing of the Declaration & Yorktown would be up there.

    Fuck it March 5th 1770 through July 12th 1804.

Also, I'm assuming we have some way of dealing with body odor?? I can't imagine what the smell in Independence Hall was like

No. he got out of it. Thank god

UPDATE : Apparently everyone who tired to go got stuck in traffic and never actually made it to Denny's and just drove/flew back to Dallas without seeing grandma

  8. Probably grandma's choice.

My wife grandmother (when still living) only ever wanted to go to one place - Luby's.
I think it was. I still put on whoever planned this to pick a restaurant. Or at least make an afternoon of it or something.
  9. Yeah. When I asked where they were eating. I wasn't being a dick. I figured they had something nice or different planned for the birthday. Like something special planned ..

But. I guess the rooti tooti fresh and fruity was good enough

Push all the buttons to the right of the screen.  Usually the second or third button mutes that crap.  I think I'm more pissed about all the buttons you have to push before you can start pumping your gas.  "Do you want to add fuel additive into your gas today?"  "Would you like a receipt?"  "Do you have a fuel rewards account?"  "Would you like to join?"  Just let me swipe my card, verify the chip, and let me pump my 87 octane, asshole.  And take your 10% ethanol and shove it.

Oh you wanted a receipt? Haha fuck you! Walk your ass in the store and the receipt

If I’m too busy to run out and get lunch, I just have “the lunch champions” which is whatever I can scrounge from the office break room. It usually ends up being fruit, trail mix, almonds, granola bar and sodas. Makes for a fine meal in a pinch.

Smart. I keep trail mix, protein bars, crackers, gatorade, ginger ale, and scotch in my desk drawer to keep from going to get fast food

I stopped eating lunch. Didn’t want the post lunch crash. I like it a lot.

I'm pretty close t doing that. But I can get low blood sugar too easily. There are alot of times I just eat a protein bar or some trail mix though.

If I have a busy schedule that day, a couple PB&Js hit the spot for me.

    Regular size guy.

as for food, there’s senior and kids menus and it’s ok to split a meal imo, but you can also take the other gal of the blt Togo?

I travel for work alot, so splitting it in half and taking it to go doesn't work often. I used to do that a bunch when I did sales in the morning, lunch, then back to the office. Split it half for two lunches.

I’m at the airport and this guy just tried to order half a pint.

    Was he a fucking hobbit?

On the food though. I wish more places smaller lunch portions. I don't like eating much for lunch because it makes me tired. Half a BLT is perfect for me. But most sit down restaurants really don't have that type of stuff anymore

Got in to someone else’s car coming out of gas station. No one was in it. Very glad I didn’t get in a fight or shot

We bought a grey nissan sentra. It may be the most generic car in the history of cars. I literally have to check the license plate number to make sure I don't get in someone elses car, because I've close several times
