I don't mind doing the dishes. And my wife and do chores pretty evenly. I don't do much during the work week, but on the weekends I do almost everything. She works from home, so it works out.
My pet peeve is the island. In the mornings, I like to turn on the news or sports center and drink my coffee while I check my emails and read the news at the island. So I having anything that's not supposed to be there or clutter in general. We almost never argue, but I bet 90% of them are about shit on the island.

At home tonight. Might tailgate tomorrow at the stadium but not sure if I feel like the trip to Arlington from Far North Dallas with all their construction.
They've closed that bar I met you at some years back. My uncle and many of those regulars now to go Cafe Gecko. Didn't know if you still go out that way.Still here in Allen. been to Cafe Gecko a handful of times. Mostly go to Two Rows now.

Who is are the game? At a bar? Or watching from home?
I'm on the couch with a fresh bottle of what I bought for the last two ALCS games. And some fucking nachos.

We have a dog named Jack. My wife named him. I readily agreed to the name. She found it odd that I agreed. But figured I like Jack Daniels.
a few days later, dog jumps on the couch. from the other room I hear
Wife "Jack!! Off!!.....jack off.... oh fuck me."

Before the baby girl came a few years ago. She wanted to paint the baby's room pink. We went home Depot and she picked out the perfect color. I told her it would look like her room got hosed down with Pepto bismol. My opinion was ignored.

Your quip about him barely spending time here made me question my own memory.
I remember listening to that 3000th hit on the radio. That was very cool. He was a bright spot between pennants.Yep I was at that 3000th hit game. Awesome experience in person. That was the beginning of our decline after having good teams for the first half of the decade. Until now.
That game was the day after my bachelor party. About 10 the next morning, I was literally laying on the floor in the bathroom with gatorade, which was where my "friends" left me the night before. My now wife call:
her "Did you see."
me:" Honey, I don't even remember where I was last night."
her " He didn't get it, take a shower, get dressed. I got tickets."
I married wisely.
(Also, it was like 120 degrees outside and I was super hung over. Not ideal)

Anyway, back to the actual World Series.
Looking at going Saturday and price gouging is definitely on at nearest hotels.
Anyone going in from out of town and where y'all staying or recommend?
I haven't been to Globe Life yet but for Game 6 had a great hotel recommendation that was two blocks away. Walking to MMP and back was fantastic. Especially back, lol.
From initial looks I'm guessing there's no "walking distance" places available unless I'm willing to go $800 a night?
Loews looked like one but appears to be fully booked already.
The Cowboys play at home Sunday at noon, so you're going to run into that as well

Yes for second dinner. This worked well. I should have gone a bit longer. Probably 5 minutes for my air fryer.Thawed - No husk. Spray oil, 375-400 depending on air fryer and 2-6 mins depending on how crispy you like it. Turn half way.

Montgomery is absolutely available for 35-45 pitches tonight. He'd be throwing a 40 pitch bullpen today anyway.
I'm dumb. Thanks. For some reason, I keep thinking Montgomery pitched Saturday night, not Friday
-
So, outside of Eovaldi & Montgomery, everyone's available to pitch right?

I would do literally anything to avoid spending time with my mother-in-law. If I had this conversation with my wife and she figured it out while I was driving, I would Toonces the Driving Cat it because life would be over anyway.
I actually really, really like her family. But they don't know how to just hang out and relax. They make an itinerary for everything. And micromanage stuff like kids birthday parties. You know "We going to cut the cake at 3:12"

Marcus getting a couple hits to hopefully break out of his funk is a nice bonus going into tomorrow night.
He also didn't swing at the first pitch in any of his at bats.
