Ha! Technically, yes. But that is also because no one is going to challenge them. Their record in exercises is sterling.

Pasture camping this weekend at the aunt-in-laws... putting together a concrete block smoker tomorrow for a barbecue on Sunday. This time last year we did a whole hog. This year we have a brisket, pork butt, ribs, sausage, and whatever else we round up...

Hey anybody replaced any decals? I have one shitty one on of course the front of my trailer. I scrapped most of it off last year and there is a little bit of decal at the top where it was hard to reach, and mostly just adhesive residue. I was thinking of buying one of the 3M discs to remove the residue as I worried about potential staining or gelcoat damage if I used goof off or something similar.
I have the replacement decal, (which will likely suck as well) but just need to get down to a smooth clean surface before I put the new one on. Suggestions?

I've done this to remove the dealership decals off of my cars. Works well. Heat gun on low and a plastic scraper then hit with some goo gone while its still warm.

Alright, time to let go of some duplicates and knives I never carry. Obviously it would be a lot easier to sell as a lot, but will sell individually. These are all used in the sense that I don’t have the boxes and they have all been carried at least a few times and others carried a lot. Mostly light usage with a few exceptions, but all in great condition. Can take individual photos for anyone interested. I may resort to reddit/marketplace. What do y’all think is a fair price for all of them together?
The only ones of significant value are the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 (with custom deep pocket clip, I might still have original) and the Benchmade Mini Griptilian (556?) with custom aluminum scales (I don’t think I have original scales). Quick look at eBay and looks like $150 and $100 respectively are good estimates. The Kershaw Cryo has custom “carbon fiber” scale, but I have the original. The little Boker also has custom g10 scales and I have the original green one).
Thinking $450 for all together?
What's this?
I have a Kershaw Leek right now for my EDC, but I'm hard on pocket knives and the blade is a little flimsy for me.... That one looks kind of similar but maybe with a stouter blade?

Ok, so... I mean yeah you would and should expect the '23 model to have at least or better equipment than the '22 model but it's not the car's fault you can't park without hitting something.

The AI writes something original. It’ll even cite sources. There’s no original paper or collage of link-filled Wikipedia and Buzzfeed articles to present as evidence. The only evidence is the telltale signs of AI writing, which is obvious, but hard to articulate. TurnItIn is developing a tool that claims to detect AI writing, and there are already lots of them out there, but it’s a bit of a black box.
With normal plagiarism detectors, it finds the sources so you can track it down and determine whether or not plagiarism actually occurred. The detector is just a tool to gather the evidence. The new AI detectors just tell you the likelihood that something was written by a bot. They don’t present evidence; it’s more of a, “trust us, that kid is 92.5% cheating, but we won’t tell you why we determined that” type thing.
I agree using AI to do your homework is cheating.
But, I find it funny that a professor that gives you a 0 for an AI written paper uses AI themselves to bust you. Just sayin'.

I've never been a fan of open carry... I don't need to know if you're packing a magnum.

I carry when I'm travelling with my family, or camping. I don't carry day to day and I usually don't when I'm traveling alone. I always figured I can most likely get myself out of trouble but I'm not as confident I can get myself and my kids out of harms way if we wandered into something bad.

I think college football could end up looking like EPL soccer, with the CFP being the equivalent of the Wembley FA Cup (every English professional team, no matter how low the division, gets to compete in a nationwide single elimination tournament).
I won’t be surprised when the B12, ACC and PAC institute salary caps in a few years. Why would they? Because most of the teams don’t want one school, say Baylor, to have a mega rich alum decide to outspend everyone else.Conferences will be told to go pound sand if they try to tell an athlete how much he can earn.

Pretty fucking significant.
Many moons ago, knew of an outfit that entirely inadvertently ended up supplying (through some shifty shell corp buyers) sensitive gear to a sanctioned country. As soon as they realized what had happened, they had to spend a lot of time with US Customs with their hat in hand, explaining exactly how they screwed up and exactly how they weren't going to let it happen again. And that was a pretty minor, low-volume situation.
Poor export controls alone can get you popped. Actively and purposefully evading sanctions restrictions? That's some next-level bad juju.
Et tu, John Deere?

She moved in - in March. Inspection probably would have happened in February? Snakes probably weren't too active then and still in their den. I bet the previous owner was really motivated to sell before spring.
