Donald Trump 2018
All your questions are pretty clearly answered in the Criminal Information. The McDougal payment was paid by the parent company of the Enquirer and although Cohen was going to pay to be assigned the NDA rights in that agreement, that was never consummated. So that is violation #1: direct corporate contribution. The Daniels payment was paid by Cohen through Essential Consultants LLC. I dont know if that would be considered a "corporation" under campaign finance law, but either way, its violation #2: direct corporate contribution or personal contribution in excess of the limit. That Trump's real estate company eventually reimbursed Cohen for some of all of this is neither here nor there, although it may constitute additional crimes.

Donald Trump 2018
you can already see the pardon narrative developing. He is in a tight spot though, because he's got to get this narrative built and pardon executed quickly, before next months trial, which is most definitely all about COLLUSION.

The Robert Mueller Investigation
I think Mueller correctly strategized that opening a different front that was not subject to attack as springing from his WITCH HUNT was probably a smart move, and that move is looking quite prescient now.

Donald Trump 2018
I admire in a sick sense Cohens commitment to driving the knife deep into Trumps back. 4-5 years in prison in exchange for that.

Manafort Trial
I think its very possible he will be guilty on all counts, given the jury's question.

Dumbest Political Comment Ever?
You didnt build that was only stupid for phrasing it in a way that allowed the billions of pundits that now infest this planet to so easily and mindlessly take it completely out of context. There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me – because they want to give something back. They know they didn't – look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.) If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet. The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don't do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires

Manafort Trial
Yes you can rest assured the most the majority of the jury knows right now is that there is a sense someone did something wrong here and there a bunch of documents (some faked) and slime balls in the courtroom

Manafort Trial
It will take them as long as each count on the verdict form times 10 minutes plus 1 hour for each 4 hours the first part adds up to.

Manafort Trial
That article is the biggest bunch of opportunistic ass kissing I have ever seen, even if he's 100% right, which I doubt.

The Innocence Project Thread
If you really want to get your jimmies rustled on this issue, give The Cadaver King and The Country Dentist a spin. Mind boggling corruption and justice system ineptitude.

Manafort Trial
Manafort was a whore who stood tall amongst the other whores in a city filled with whores. Lobbying for brutal African dictators takes a special brand of whore.

Manafort Trial
Ward had a tendency to insert himself into the show a bit more. A good experienced judge no doubt but if he didn’t like you watch out

Manafort Trial
judge Folsom in Texarkana and judge Davis in Tyler were so good at this. I mean they’d go ape shit when they had to but did not insert themselves into the action otherwise. I am guessing they both wish they stayed on the bench at this point.

My sentiments exactly. This behavior is totally normal, and that’s not a good thing.

Cruz vs Beto
I’d do some internal poleing on her nevertheless

The Robert Mueller Investigation
Lets not play the victims too much here. Trump & Co are getting ground into dust on a daily basis, and rightfully so, by most sane media outlets. It remains to be seen if there will be political consequences, but I am guessing this is at least not helping things.

LOL, tolerant Democrats on the Green Party.

EMAW, did you also oversee Trump's family reunification program?

Manafort Trial
I dont think he's accused the defense attorney of crying yet. That is such fucking petty bullshit. And there is no way the guy was crying because (1) he's an experienced federal prosecutor and (2) his evidence was coming in beautifully at that point.

Manafort Trial
I have diagnosed Judge Ellis with Old Male Federal Judge Syndrome, which is endemic in the species for which it is named and its primary symptom includes inserting yourself into the game when you are supposed to be acting as a referee, and it is caused by the general assumption you know everything. It would not surprise me in the least if the remark was in front of the jury.
