Correct. It's a highly complex situation with bad on both sides. Very unfortunate all the way around.
I think the hardliners in Israel are a problem and Hamas is a problem. It's been a tinder box for a long time.
Again, I'm pro-Israel, but this guy isn't helping things.
“Jerusalem is ours,” he said. “The Palestinians can go to – the Gaza Strip should also be ours – can go to Saudi Arabia or other places, like Iraq or Iran.
“Not here, this is our place. Israel is our country.” He's made numerous comments about creating a law to expel anyone that acts "against the state." It's pretty clear what he wants.
No, it's not. Go back and listen to some of the things Israeli hardliners have said. It's terrifying. I'm all for Israel doing what's necessary to defend itself, but I'm not naive about what this hardliner government wants. I want Hamas gone. Ben-Gvir wants all of them gone and said so.
Minimally, to demoralize and wage of a war of attrition. Or to remove as many Palestinians as possible so they can completely take over the area. They want all of them gone.
A terrible situation where innocent Israelis and Palestinians are going to suffer. A corrupt government and a terrorist organization are plunging these people into a bloody war and will likely affect the Ukrainian situation. Hamas is no friend to the Palestinian people.
I thought the DL was starting to take control at one point, but when I saw them with their hands on their hips and struggling to get air, I knew there was a problem.
Texas is too strong on both lines for OU. Sooner D is much improved, but they really haven't established a run game. Texas wins in the trenches by 14.

LSU is in turmoil, and Georgia seems vulnerable. Alabama still has a crazy level of talent and their OL is improving. They've been kicked in the teeth and have something to prove.
Alabama is going to win the west and beat Georgia in the SEC championship game. That's going to potentially set up a rematch with Texas for the national title.
Bama doesn't have guys like Jonathan Allen and Darron Payne in the middle these days. They've got some big, quick athletes, but they're just not as nasty and instinctive. I think the Buchner kid might help them. They've won national titles with guys like that before. McCarron, McElroy, etc. Guys that don't have the mobility or arm than Bryce Young had, but are efficient game managers.
And their assistants have been average. Having Kirby Smart run your defense and guys like Sark and Kiffin for the offense takes you up a notch. I think those are the key differences between national title Alabama teams and the most recent versions.
They're actually playing pretty well tonight. Bear Alexander is in the backfield all the time, Shane Lee is playing better and Tackett Curtis is a stud. Reminds me of Cushing.
