I think that by murdering someone you’ve already proven you are a danger to society.

It's typically movies that you are meant to check your brain at the door. Often kids movies. Yes Pixar has shown us that an adult can be emotionally engaged in a children's movie as well, but not everything is meant to hit that bar.

They used frog DNA. Some west African frogs have been known to spontaneously change sexes in a single sex environment. Nature finds a way.

You'd much rather waste a 5th on a QB in a MUCH worse QB draft than on a guy who's graded higher, and has actually played in the NFL even if was week 18?
You are getting WAY too caught up in a very late 5th round. And ignoring they got the first pick in the 7th back. They basically moved down 34 spots AND god a backup QB with amazing traits.
There literally is NO reason to hate this trade. At all.
There was not a QB outside the top 3 rounds that was going to be any better than Milton, and in most cases, probably not as highly graded.
They gave up on of the last 2 comp picks to get it...not there own 5th, AND they got the first pick in the 7th to boot.
Using 1 of 3 comp picks is NOT going to hurt them in the fucking draft. Jesus Christ.
Also this. At least Milton has been thought highly of, has amazing traits, and has actually played downs in the NFL, regardless of compeition.
I'm fine with the trade, but what are these assumably newly discovered amazing traits considering he was a 2024 6th round pick? The trade is fine, but the backup QB position is way overthought by fans. This guy or a 5th round QB pick in this draft has a 95% chance of sucking. Experience even a little > rookie so yeah good move. But it doesn't make them a % point better of a team. Cooper Rush was considered one of the best backups in the league and it meant jack shit for this team.

Yes, I’m not giving this guy a pass, not at all. WTF are you doing at at high school track meet with a knife? Were you being threatened? Bullied?
Are there details on the knife? I don't know the legality, but there would have been hundreds of pocket knives being carried by parent spectators at this event. I wouldn't expect any of the athletes to be EDCing in their track gear though.

Seems weird for dad to start one on day his son was murdered. And set a goal of $250k. Apparently the kid lived with his mom also.
It seems weird that people everywhere conspire to piss me off, but that's exactly what they do.

Regarding the GoFundMe conversation, why does it matter if the family is going to use it for funerals or therapy or if they are going to use it for food or enjoying time with their family or whatever. The parents experienced a horrible loss, if making their life easier by providing some financial gifts (even if it was already relatively easy in your eyes) is something an individual or a community wants to do, what's it matter to you? It's not your money.
To me it doesn't. You have to go out of your way to donate and I've never been made aware or asked to donate to a gofundme outside a link in an article or thread like this. No one is getting tricked outside of it being a scam and no way associated to the family. Now if they convinced HEB to link their gofundme as a screen on their card machines, I'd fucking riot.

I get setting up a GoFundMe for ongoing medical bills and other hardships. Sucks so many have to do that in this country but that's a whole other discussion.
But a $240k goal for this situation? Seems he is taking advantage of this being a national story and knows many will donate just because. What exactly is this money going towards?Other than funeral costs and possibly therapy there probably aren't additional financial hardships that requires this kind of money, but there is never a follow up to what people do with these things. I've heard of families starting scholarships or awareness campaigns when losing a child to a tragedy. If a gofundme situation was the seed, that would be cool. Or it could all just go to hookers and blow. Assuming it's not a scam, I don't think anyone is being taken advantage of though. You have to seek it out to donate, it's not popping up anywhere like tips on credit card readers.

Yup. Kid dies tragically, another kids life is effectively over because of horrific impulse, and CR Elmo pushes the “nO ONE cAreS cAuSe he wHItE” angle to tens of millions of users to ensure further division and chaos. Oh wait, it’s you, must be mad that anyone dare challenge bullshit narratives. Carry on.
Dumb question, but what does random upper/lower case mean?

You should purchase a karambit and take some bladed weapons training.
True talk, slicing is a far better tactic than piercing if you want to be effective with an edged weapon.
As a skilled striker I stay mindful that I’m always carrying deadly weapons. I can’t in good conscience introduce a tactical mechanical advantage to the equation.

He had to either save the image to his computer or alt+prtsc, open paint, paste, crop, save and then upload the image in the post. He knew exactly what he was saving/cropping, uploading, and posting. Saying it was an innocent linking is utter bullshit.
Apparently stabbing the victim's heart, as in this case, will do the trick. Who knew?

Looking forward to hearing the rest of the story because something isn't adding up.
Everything I've seen says that the argument started because Austin accused Karmelo of being in the wrong seat. Since when do HS track meets have assigned seating?
I've been to several track events, and it's just a free for all but they were 2A. I doubt there were assigned seats but there could have been designated areas for each school given the size. The origin of the altercation means nothing. It will never explain the end result. It's never going to add up.

So maybe the lesson is don't post from trending topics at 3am? Trending is typically outrage merchants and racism. Don't believe me, go read from that link you posted in the original post. It's not people sad that this kid died tragically. It's that they can use this to paint all black people as violent or bitch about how this kid won't get the treatment George Floyd got.
Why should I change, you guy's are the ones who suck.

Got it. But my question is have you actually experienced that?
I've seen it in Lowes, never in a grocery store. If they are allowed in it's going to happen occasionally regardless of me being present or not. Like I said with food it affects more than just those who witnessed it.

While I don't necessarily disagree with the general sentiment of the thread, do y'all find this is a common problem for you? I literally cannot think of a single time I've been bothered by someone having a dog in a store and I can only think of a handful of times where I've even noticed the presence of a dog in store.
Assuming they are behaved, It only bothers me if there is shit & piss involved which if allowed there would be at some point. I don't want piss or shit around me with food involved. I don't have them, but there would also be allergy issues if it were a smaller enclosed space. I've never seen a dog in a restaurant, so I don't know if that's actually a thing. I've seen them on patios, but never indoors.
