  1. 21 years. new to my bourbon hunting. I’ve had wine there before.

Great wine selection. Lived in Texas all my life but would stop by Wallys hunting RRV Pinot when I was in town. Was always amazed at the quality of wines and spirits available in the CA super markets compared to the overly regulated Texas market.
  2. I like Pikesville better than Rare Breed Rye, but it’s very close. I’d just buy whatever you can find.

Not a big fan of Rittenhouse so have avoided Pikesville to date in spite of the many recs I’ve seen on line. Will try it one day but for now I’ll go for the Rare Breed even tho it’s harder to find and another $15.

I assume it’s better than the Russell’s Reserve Rye?
  3. anyone in dallas making it over to specs to get that barrel pick of the sagamore rye?  i would love a bottle if you do.  shoot me a PM and we can figure something out.

Got one this morning. They have plenty but I wouldn’t wait too long.
  4. Don't say this often, but I agree with Sack. When you get to be that rich, you have the freedom to pretty much do whatever you want in this world. The one entity that can take that away from you is the govt. Pay your taxes, and you will be left alone. It's obviously fine to work to avoid taxes but briefly skimming the indictment, he knowingly hid income from the govt.  Allegedly.
Really bad sign when the Vista Equity CEO, Robert Smith, just paid a $138m fine and presumably testified against Brockman. Robert Smith made headlines last year when he paid off the student loan debt for graduating Morehouse College students.

So hedge fund CEO pays a $138mm fine and rolls over on one of his biggest clients?

What kind of prison did they threaten him with - French Guiana?

II and III are not worth it, but IV is worth it. 12 year old MGP

All I’m seeming is II and III on the shelf right now.

In other MGP news, I scored some Smoke Wagon SB and Uncut. What’s the Surly verdict?
