Was it common for them to include headshots in this “bodies” game? To me this sounds similar to games we played in the locker room in HS, with one guy completely disregarding the rules.

Is this really a culture problem, or a “we have one piece of shit on our team” problem?

Did you read the article? The school’s (lack of) response clearly shows it is a culture problem.  A kid just got the shit beat out of him and he’s denied medical attention because the trainer is taping kids for practice, paramedics aren’t called, parents aren’t notified, and the kid who got beat up is ultimately suspended from school.

You guys have any bar tape suggestions? I was a RavX Carbonwrap guy from my old mechanic in Austin (RIP Bobby's Bikes), but I cannot find it right now. That might be temporary, but I want to plan, just in case this move is permanent.

Gecko grip by Arundel is my new favorite. Wrap it with the logo hidden to get more grip.

This reminds me that my shins and calves are always peppered with pedal peg marks in the spring and summer.  Some dots, some scrapes.

Wife says I look like a fourth grader just back from recess.

I know you've spoken on this, but why don't you ride clipless?  It's a short learning curve, and the security and control of being locked in to your pedals are IMO essential.

Injuries are not fun. In late 2010 I partially tore both rotators. It took me two years to rehab them myself and another year to really feel good again.

Damn. How did you injure them?

It's just that the whole idea of lighter bikes and components is to get more (speed, distance, both) out of your effort.  There can be other benefits, too, such as comfort and handling, better shifting and braking, that come from more expensive bikes.  But you can upgrade components on your current bike and probably achieve the mechanical things.

But if your main goal is to burn calories and build a little strength, you don't need any of that.

Like all men's hobbies, biking tends to turn into an arms race.  I kind of like to dissuade that, if I can.

Or maybe his main goal is to have fun, and it’s more fun to ride a bike that is lighter, faster and rides better.

"he has penises hanging out" ... say what? Bob Stoops is that you?

"and if we went in to the men's section with our anatomy...."   lol she couldn't finish that sentence could she?

but seriously, I've been in plenty of women's locker rooms, changing areas, etc. and I'll tell you this much, parading around naked is mostly a dude thing.  So either he needs to GTFO or she needs to get with the program and be more modest.  yes, the trans person (if that's really what that was) is wrong. and if trans and not transitioned, then GTFO out too.

Why does it need to be more complicated than this? One can support trans folks and still be uncomfortable with a trans woman immodestly showing her dong around little girls.

never forget that he started the ACU game by scoring something like 7 points in the first 90 seconds against that 3A HS JV sized team, only for Shaka to abandon that in favor of our guards bricking pull-up threes and turning the ball over en masse.

Goddamn what a fuck ass shit fuck coach

Thanks, washpark. If I die, i'll let you know.

I once went 27 days during which I only ate two salads. One salad on day 10. One salad on day 20. No issues. Felt great. 48 hour fast is nothing.

I don't want to get in link posting battle, but surely you're aware I could post plenty of links quoting medical doctors outlining the benefits of fasting, right?

    Bernard

And based on your experience does that fasting lead to long term, sustained weight loss?

Seems to me that Carrington wasn't exactly keeping Sark in the dark either.  We've been hearing about it for quite a while and that Texas would have the opportunity to match.   So either match, or don't.  But don't get all bent out of shape because he's willing to listen to someone else who makes him a better offer.    Who on NSD2 did we not get that BC would have been a vital player in getting?  I'll hang up and listen.

How do you know Sark got bent out of shape?  Because of some shit Burton wrote.
