I was on the winning team for Bevo's birthday rodeo during my senior year at UT.

When I was growing up my grandparents owned a combination motel/gun shop in a small town.  We would go visit them for a weekend and us kids got to stay in a motel room, which we thought was way cool.  On Saturday, Granddad would load up his car with guns from the shop and take me out and teach me to shoot.

There was a pasture next to my grandparent's motel that had horses in it.  My parents always told us not to mess with the horses, but of course, as soon as they weren't looking we would be out in the pasture messing with the horses.  One time (I was 6 at the time) I was behind one of the horses and I turned my back on him.  The next thing I knew I was flying across the pasture.  The horse had kicked me with both hind hooves square in the back.  My older sisters picked me up and carried me back to the motel and made me promise not to tell Mom.  Unfortunately for them, the two massive hoof prints on my back gave us away.

When I was 12 I got kicked square in the chest by the first horse I ever broke.  It knocked me about about 10 feet away and my dad said he couldn't get a heartbeat for what seemed like an eternity but he figures it was a little less than a minute. I woke up and was fine except for the horseshoe shaped 1" knot on my chest.

I plowed my first field all by myself at 9 years old and had my fist pickup (58 Chevy stepside) as an 7th grader.  You grow up fast on the farm.  Probably illegal now.

    That's kinda Texan I guess.

  3. I have been airborn twice while driving a car, both when I was 13 and on dirt roads. Managed to land both times without crashing.

My freshman year of high school a buddy and I stole 350lbs of dynamite and blew up, among other things, a row of post office boxes.

I was a young catastrophe adjuster (property) in Fairfax. I apply my 28’ ladder to a brownstone house, but it is short of the parapet wall and just below the soffit. I decided to muscle up over the parapet wall and inspected the roof.

My decent was much worse. I look over the wall and I can’t even see my ladder at all. I lean way out and finally see the feet of my ladder. I used some chalk to mark where it is.

Then I proceed to muscle down and dangle my feet until I feel something, also trying not to kick my ladder over.

I find some ladder. Then I blindly trust my feet to find a rung. My arms are burning and adrenaline is maxed out.

I get a foot set and continue to test for center of gravity while my arms are shaking.

Now I gotta figure out how to get my hands on the ladder while leaning back/forward/perfect and take a couple blind steps down rungs until I can find the ladder with my hands, still blind. Made it. Holding the top of that 28’ ladder felt like heaven

That’s up there with dumbest things I’ve done.

    This had me hyperventilating

Translated version of the footage of the Ukrainian capture of a Russian position SL Express posted earlier. It helps to explain the situation with that one Russian lying on the ground with the grenade. Also, the way they treat/talk to that itty-bitty Russian guy makes me think they realize he probably has some intellectual challenges.

Whoa, off camera you can hear the grenade go off.

    Fucking intense.

Grenades, if you watch at 0:48-0:51, you'll see Ukrainian troops are actually there throwing them.

OK I see that now. So now to the orc that had a great vault but failed to stick landing... I think he was already dead before launch but question is what blew him 30 ft in the air?  Had to be something a little stronger than a grenade right?

Of all the crazy footage that one ranks up there.

I'd also like to commend Jamie Lee curtis' performance.  She absolutely nails the narcissistic mother character.

I should know, I've got one.

Mullaney was surprising. He has a future in dramatic acting.

I'm guessing Mulaney had sobered up by the time he filmed this?  His character was hilarious.
