Is A&M really going to end up top 3?
In the composite? They have so much bread it looks like UGA, Oregon and LSU could jump them.

He's coming back along with LJH and CJ.

I repeatedly see coaches that are mentioned as school "XYZ" is their dream job. Stoops, Campbell, Urbs, etc. Aside from Herman, do we have younger coaches in the ranks that Texas is their dream job?
Zachary Smith.

It's been two hours since the last post, did the meth run out? Is the party over?

Because I can't remember all the players, I googled him. Looks like 247 still has him as an OT.
He's listed as a T in the composite for some reason. He's an OG in the 247 rankings.

Check out this part of Matt Campbell's Wiki page.....
Toledo
"Toledo promoted Campbell to offensive coordinator in 2010. Toledo made Campbell the permanent head coach at the end of 2011 when Beckman departed for the University of Illinois. He was 32 years old and the youngest head coach in the Football Bowl Subdivision.[8] Two weeks into the job, Toledo defeated Air Force in the Military Bowl.[2] Reportedly Campbell passed on a chance to serve on Urban Meyer's staff at The Ohio State University.[9]Campbell coached four full seasons at Toledo: 2012–2015, amassing a record of 35–15.[4] The 2015 team peaked at No. 20 in the AP Poll, including a victory over Arkansas.[9] "
If Meyer wanted him, there has too be some skeletons in his closet.

Always felt baseball has been a bigger factor for Catalon.... that's why Arky and TCU have stayed in the picture. Parents also may like their son staying closer to home and smaller Christian school structure.....
If it was Football only, Texas would probably end up with Catalon.
How high on the priority list for Texas is a 5' 9" safety? Seems like 6'+ is what we're looking for.
Maybe we want him as a NB?

I'm honestly in the "Trust Herm" camp, too. I got to talk to him for half hour or so when he was still at Coog and he genuinely seems to be a believer in the process of building a championship program-- down to the smallest details. He had some line about everyone in the program-- even the ladies who wrap the rubber bands around your season tickets-- need to believe that everything they do, if they do it to the best of the ability, can culminate in a national championship.
The hydration stuff and his general stubbornness seem odd in some ways but I really think he's bought in to "The Process." It's been a fun ride so far. I think things will continue to improve.
Yea, once I put down the bottle and start thinking rationally (usually midweek or so), I appreciate more then I dislike about this team. We're definitely still in the middle of a roster and program rebuild. My guess was year 3 for fielding a competent offense. Anyone who tells you they knew Sam would play this well is being an Urban Meyer.

I don't know, I kinda feel like he's earned some leeway to do something just to make a point. We all would've benched Sam after Maryland and prob last year too. He had a plan for the offense and it's coming together now.
On the off chance he has one for the defense, this would be part of it. I want to win right away too, but he might be looking at the bigger picture.

And Pederson to a lesser extent. The idea that you don't need to have decades of experience or some amazing pedigree to win a SB.

Can you add the first possessions of the second half? I guess the thinking is we play like shit in the 1st quarter so better to get the ball later.
