I think smith has a little Christian McCaffrey in him.  A little smaller at this point, but his ability to stick his foot in the ground and run nice routes is very Shipley-esque.  What’s going to make him fucking lethal is that ability to come out of that cut and switch from 1st to 2nd gear in heartbeat. Hook’em Jake.

Plus his 40 time of 4.37 is faster then McCaffery. Don't know how legit the measurement is though.

I can see the similarity with his cutting and vision though.

What in the sam hell are you talking about? That arm was pinned between the two of them. The arm in the air comes down and gets the ball clean. Why are you pointing to an arm stuck between two players?

LOL... His poor "pinned" arm hit and made solid contact with KD's arm as he was going up for the shot. Then, his other arm hit the ball. The contact on Durant's elbow was first.

  3. Apparently none of you guys watched Rodman do it masterfully for years and get under guys skin. Shit talking and shenanigans are part of competitive sports. Green is much more overt about it, but it's the same idea: Make a guy mad at you so he plays outside himself and tries to get even.

But yea it definitely sucks if you hate GSW or are a fan of the team they beat.

what are you supposed to do with your off hand, put it behind your back? lol. Watch what he hits, nothing but ball.

Umm.. maybe not hit the guy with the ball in the arm? I think that's called "fouling".

So I guess you can only foul with one arm now?

So sad a great game was ruined by bad ref calls from the end of reg on. KD stripped clean...twice. Charge call. Throwing out TT on whatever they said that was. When the Cavs lose this series we can point to this as the tipping point for why the series isn't interesting the rest of the way.

Was this one of those "clean" strips of KD were he clearly gets hit in his elbow?

I swear Jeff and Mark are blind.

Additionally the idea that when Saban retires, the notion that 'Bama is going anywhere other than Dabo Swinney to fill that role is hilariously ludicrous. Much less a Todd Orlando that has never been a head coach. Alabama would go to Dabo, then back to Smart, and Pruitt if he is successful at Tenn. THEN they'd expand that search to other good coaches at existing D1 schools.

They're gonna hire jimbo after he beats Saban 5 times in a row and wins 7 nattys, in his first 3 seasons. Saban will be so devastated he'll live out his remaining years in a nursing home mumbling things like "class ring" and "male cheerleaders".

Why wouldn't he?  GS is already talking extensions for Klay and him. Klay reportedly open to taking 25m a year without a NTC. KD could ask for the supermax this offseason, but I doubt he will hamstring his organization with that. Curry will be getting max money next year, and Draymond is still on a team-friendly contract for 2 more years.  The warriors are willing to pay the tax, but the next few years will be very expensive. If KD is content to earn a lot less, like currently $200 million less than he would have signing the supermax with OKC (and on track for $100m less at 25 a year), then they can keep the guys together for another 2 years.

Don't assume that's he'll stay at 25 a year for 6 straight years. He could very well max out in 1-2 years. If he doesn't, I'm sure the endorsement + investment opportunities would just about make up for it.

He could also get cut in on a few investment deals by his hedge fund buddies and make more then he would in salary.

  8. I don't think it was coaching or anything like that. Sometimes in high pressure situations, you just tense up. For the most part, the shots were good shots to take, the right passes were made etc...

It's just one of those big game things.

  9. I hope it's going to be a great game. Either way, Houston fans need to stop bitching and acting like it's one-sided. There have been plenty of missed/no calls committed by Houston as well.

Like my ex-wife used to tell me, just take it like a man and stop crying.
