Beto's interview with Oprah is being recorded today but isn't aired until Feb 16th. I'm guessing he doesn't announce at this time then since I believe the recording will be public. He couldn't control the narrative well enough. He needs to decide what he's doing.

Really liking Pete Buttigieg. Love he called the Electoral College what it is. I believe we're going to to need massive structural reforms, including constitutional amendments to restore democracy. I know the constitution as written was intended to balance minority and small state interests but I do not think in the drafters envisioned the relative population difference between Montana and California. That each has two Senators is preposterous. Republicans exploitation of their outsized influenced to fuck the country and sell the it out to Trump and his ilk will speed up the reform of our outdated constitution.

Lol. Open borders. Sanctuary states. Preventing the census from an accurate count of citizens and undocumented, blocking voter ID laws....then demanding tax payer money and representation regardless of citizenship.

The electoral college is needed more than ever as the left tries to usurp democracy and betray the country and constitution. All in the name of power and creating a slave state.

Has anyone actually seen her in the wild?  The reporter who claimed to see her at a concert has since deleted the tweet and taken his account private.

...ignoring that the tax cut is paying for roughly 30% of what it cost to implement per the CBO after one year of action. The federal government is spending your grandchildren's futures today and has nothing to show for it except more wealthy rich guys.

And NY state recovering the 2 billion instead of the federal government changes what exactly?  The same amount of money is taken either way, it’s just who is spending it.

  5. top quality ingredients are terribly expensive on such a large pie.  Unless you are willing to cut quality to keep the same price, this is what you get.  (see home slice decline but prices stay the same!!)

Must be a lot of SALT losers because married filing jointly from 30k to 350k and at each point along 30 to 40k between you pay less in taxes according to this calculator linked above.

The people deducting itemized probably are paying more due to the taking away from the itemizing eligible items or limits on them.

yes, and their ire should be directed at their state governments for out of control taxes.  Those who can will speak with their feet, do so.  See New York who now might have a problem with their extremely high taxes.  Fed up residents are simply moving away.

“They are investors, they have accountants, they are making informed decisions,” Cuomo said. “This is going to be the tipping point and people will now be making a geographical change.”

Cuomo, a Democrat, ridiculed members of his political party who are calling for higher state taxes on the rich, saying the top 1 percent of earners already account for about 46 percent of state income-tax revenue.

“Tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich -- and then the rich leave. And then what do you do?” he asked. “It would be the absolute worst thing to do right now. At the same time, you don’t have the ability to reduce taxes on the rich because that would just expand the shortfall.”

I attribute it to stupid, youthful ignorance.  I have no idea his racial feelings. The man has seemed like a stand up guy.

I don't think a bad choice decades ago castrates his governorship. But his own party has folks who won't stand for that.

Having said that, I would have never even have fathomed wearing either of those 2 costumes for lots of obvious reasons.

    Lmao, but.....

But grab em in the pussy ten years ago as a media personality on a radio show = hates all women.

This thread is hypocrisy overload. Lmao. Only because he’s a democrat. His ass would would be burned to the ground if he were republican. He should be thankful.

Those of you hypocrites spinning and apologizing for your racist baby killing teammate are disgusting human beings.

The left has left the middle class and the rest of the country behind, and will force another vote for trump. Too dumb to learn from their mistakes.

anyone been to nau's lately?  i used to live on the street behind it many years ago and remember having a lot of good, greasy, old school flat top griddle burgers there.  so i went for a shot of nostalgia around the holidays, and wow.  waited over an hour for burgers (they ended up comping the whole thing it took so long) and they were like something your drunk uncle would make in the backyard - dry, completely charred, cold slice of cheese thrown on, wrong condiments.  i understand they had to completely close down the soda fountain for a while shortly thereafter.  and i'm quite sure that's the only part of that place that makes any money.  maybe they took some time to get their shit together.  or maybe it will be condos by this time next year.

    nailed it

It's insensitive, sure, and wildly so, but it's clearly some sort of costume party.  If someone goes to a costume party as Hitler, does that make them a Nazi sympathizer or anti-Semite?

You can draw the conclusion that he was something of an insensitive clod or troglodyte, but I don't think you can reasonably conclude that he's a racist from that photo.

I think the guy's record for the past 30 years should trump a youthful case of bad taste.

Giving poor kids money. It's actually a unique, signature idea that is easy to understand, so it's smart on his part. Also, it's direct wealth redistribution, which is also smart.

America has a massive, growing racial wealth gap. The median white family today holds nearly 10 times the wealth of the median black family.

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is introducing a bill aimed at closing that gap. His idea is to give lower-income kids a sizable nest egg (nearly $50,000 in some cases) that they could use for wealth-building purchases, like a down payment on a house or college tuition.

These “opportunity accounts” would, theoretically, make sure all children have significant assets when they enter adulthood, rather than just those who grow up in wealthier homes.

More racism is always the answer!

poor white familes with no generational wealth need to check their privilege.

Matthews would be the starter at SF. Gordon would go back to 6th man, and the rotation would be very good.

I don't think the staff would make that move for continuity purposes, but he would stagger the mins to basically do the same thing.  I think EG would have a mental hangup to losing his starting spot while healthy to a guy off the street
