A little Dick, who was perfectly cast as well.
Marie de Salle's playing. You remember I told you about her. I like her. She's kind of Sheryl Crow-ish crossed with a post-Partridge Family pre-L.A. Law Susan Dey kind of thing, but, you know, uh, black.
One of my favorite movies. Â They're actually showing it at the Alamo a few times this month if you're interested.

Mariko killed it that episode. Â Council scene was fantastic.
Pretty awesome episode, even without Toranaga.
Needs more Fuji though.

Do you want to see Due Lipa and Annie Clark eye fuck each other for 3 minutes? Â Of course you do:

I went and grabbed a matinee at Alamo Village today (Money Man - really liked it). Â When I was walking in, I noted a video return box for Vulcan Video outside and when I walked in, they had a bunch of DVD sleeve inserts organized by director and genre. Â
I asked the guy at the desk and he said that they bought the Vulcan Video inventory and are setting up a small rental shop, hopefully completed by the end of April. Â He said that they will be free rentals, just asking people to bring them back. Â It's DVD's for now, but they are working to figure out VHS as well at some point, although it's harder to find and not many people still have (or want) VHS players. Â I'll be interested to see it when it's set up.
Just FYI for you physical media heads out there.

Netflix has put out some really underrated animated movies the last few years. Â We watched Mitchells vs. the Machines again a few weeks back and that's probably better than any Disney/Pixar movie since probably Inside Out. Â I actually like Mitchells vs. the Machines better. Â It's so good.
We also really like The Sea Beast and have heard good things about Nimona.

Max HAS to be more aggressive on 13 and 15
-
I'm rooting for Max. Â Just an extremely likable guy.
He'll probably need to hit one of these birdie putts though.

Sheff just dominated those two par 5’sÂ
Yeah for sure. I was more referencing everyone else. Max had a bad shot in. Bryson and Morikawa both 3 putted 13. As I speak, Bryson just dunked a chip at 15. Yikes.- 1

These leaders can’t afford to just par the par 5s. They have to at least birdie those.

Outside of Scottie’s eagle, it’s a blood bath out there.

If you want to see one of the greatest cinematic achievements ever, the 7 Up Series is for you.  Starting in 1964 when they were 7, they have visited with the same 15 or so people every 7 years to see how they have changed.  They aired 63 Up in 2019, so they have done 9 episodes.  It's enthralling and unexpected every time.  Some depressing and sad parts, but also some beautiful changes throughout their lives. Â
ÂThe overall concept is that you can show a child at 7 and you can tell who they will be when they are older. Â Basically a nature/nurture experiment for the last 60 years. Â Some of that has seemed the same while others have varied wildly. Â It's truly incredible to watch the whole thing. Â The main filmmaker (Michael Apted) died a couple of years ago, but I really hope they keep it going. Â Â Â
It can be hard to find them all, but it's worth it.

This could be a dumb question, but why do they require at least one tire change? That seems like it could be an interesting strategy wrinkle at certain tracks.

What's up with Day's pants? Â Was he inspired by the TJ/Melo/Perk commercial?

Went on a tour last Friday with Dr. Gordon as part of my grad program and it's eye opening.Â
Thanks for posting. Â Super interesting. Â We need to reconcile with our past to work towards a better future at UT.

We got about 10 minutes of hail at Balcones and 2222. Not quite golfball but bigger than I had seen in years. I was worried my skylights were about to crack. Loud as shit.

Yep great season. I know it hasn't been renewed for a third season but if that's the end I'm content with it. I like when shows end on a peak.
About to come here and say something similar. Â They left it in a good spot with some storylines closed and some open. Â It would be a good place to stop.
I just don't know what kind of traction this has gotten. Â It seems pretty light, but I could be wrong.
Season 2 was terrific throughout though. Â Fuck that FBI lady.

Man, he hates that so much. Got out of there ASAP.
I felt like the seasons after the long break after season 8 were really uneven. Leon was pretty hit or miss and he was the most common foil to Larry. I think Cheryl’s incredulousness was missed.
That said, the finale was great and it went out on a high- 1

Clark is obviously the best on her team but she has been pressing for most of the 4th.

I bet a fun thing would be to go way back in time to where there was going to be an eclipse and tell the cave men, "If I have come to destroy you, may the sun be blotted out from the sky." Just then the eclipse would start, and they'd probably try to kill you or something, but then you could explain about the rotation of the moon and all, and everyone would get a good laugh.

I know some states have 24 hour cool down periods, but I know vehicle "refunds" aren't a thing.
Seems weird. Maybe they’re talking about refunding of the deposits to get a Cybertruck? -
I’ll probably say this fairly often in this threadÂ
Â
Cancer cells have double the number of glucose receptors as regular cells in the body. Â
So, carbs/sugar are much much more important to the growth of cancer cells than other cells in the body.  Cancer needs glucose to grow.  That’s why fasting is so powerful when fighting cancer.  If you don’t want to fast, cut all the carbs.Â
Rest very assured that doctors at MD know all about the reasons why you should cut carbs from your diet but the big mystery is that they don’t include it in treatment strategy’s. Â
Â
It’s just one of those things that doctors “choose” not to get involved in. Â
Can I ask where you get your info from? Legitimately curious.
“Cancer doctors/nutritionists just don’t want to get involved in preventing cancer” isn’t going to make me throw the advice I have gotten in the trash, but I could be convinced to keep a better eye on carbs/sugar.- 1
-
I've asked multiple doctors and nutritionists specifically about sugar intake. Â This includes doctors and nutritionists at MD Anderson. Â They all say natural sugars are good, but it's good to stay away from added sugars. Â Mostly, due to added sugars just being unhealthy and cancer appearing/recurring in unhealthy individuals. Â Not a direct link.
Just FYI on my discussions but others may have heard differently.
