  1. Baptist may have been on the bottom of the Protestant pecking order, but I've never heard of a "Baptists Need Not Apply" sign.  Remember that the Irish were not considered white, but an annoying uneducated over-breeding foreign immigrants next time someone plays the race card.

So, uhhhh, NCSU drops the soap at home vs Wake Forest.

But hey, Wake is good, just ask the other teams they have beaten - Tulane, Towson, Rice and Louisville. No top 75 wins til tonight in Raleigh for Wake.

WFU may have only been our 7th best win, but it's nice to see them go on the road and stick it to Clemson's best.

Yeah, you're right about that. I just don't understand why BK would still do it when a guy as talented as Book is playing QB. He easily has the best touch and accuracy of any ND QB under Kelly so far.

The zone read is his bread and butter play, I doubt he'll ever get away from it.  Kinda like Holtz tried to make Ron Powlus run the option.

I read somewhere that 12 of his endorsees out of 33 won.

Those records can be pretty self-selecting because the Parties can send in their Trump/Oprah where they have an outside shot at an upset.

I trust Mueller to report on violations of the Trump allies that have nothing to do with election meddling,a as that is what he has done from day 1.  Mueller is not investigating the illegal spying on the Trump campaign so he is quite irrelevant to that question.

Before people start championing the national voting holiday thing, please remember that in many countries the bars are required to be CLOSED all day.

    So to hell with that.

I saw this in a John Wayne movie, everyone bum rushes the bar as soon as the vote was done.

Getting the House Intelligence committee back is huge in and of itself.

The Dems will assuredly shut down the Nunes investigation.  However, Sessions or his replacement could simply restart it inside the DOJ.  So the true election meddlers may not out of the woods yet.

Wash State over West Va is just indefensible, much as I love the pirate. Wash State has 0 wins over the CFP Top 25, WVU has 1.  WVU loss was on the road to CFP Top 25 team, Wazzu loss was to unranked team.

LSU should be 9. The dropoff behind Ohio State is gigantic, so all the teams 11-25 may feel like they are overrated.  Everyone is bagging on the SEC love, but the ACC having Syr, BC and NCSU in the top 17 is also loltastic feeling. For Christ's sake, #17 is a 20 point home dog this week.

The PACn is a pretty damn competitive division so I don't know how to split WVU vs WSU. But LSU and the rest are only there because of SEC inflation.  All of their wins are against each other.

I'm calling Arizona for McSally. The last dump of precincts came in heavier Sinema counties (namely, Pima, which is Tucson). The vote there is almost fully counted, and she didn't make much inroad in terms of the total vote deficit, which now sits at around 22K votes. Sinema still have a Pinal County problem (65% reporting, currently +17 to McSally). She's going to have to run WAY ahead in the remaining 18% in Maricopa County (Phoenix), which she's currently winning, but by only 3K votes with over 900K votes cast. I simply don't see it happening.

This should be a hold for the Rs.

Montana is still too close to call.

Just embarrassing that this was even a race in AZ.  The female Top Gun shouldn't have had to toss her hair to beat the hippy in a red state.

Nominal value add to the Big 10 that isolated the West division into Wisconsin and a bunch of scrubs like Illinois, NW, Purdue, and Minn.

Like them or not, the original Bore Champion had to play through a round robin and beat about 8 schools that took their football teams seriously.  Now the East team just has to get the breaks in 3 key games.

and as long as that weasel Scott M. Gimple is involved, we can fully expect it to be all be garbage.

I think as Gimple recedes into other projects the show will improve, but it may be too little too late ala the recent Simpsons.

Every conference has one seat at the board of directors.  They had a choice, and they went with what was best for them - siphoning as much money out of the P5 as possible.  They aren't the victim here, they are a co-conspirator at best and a leech at worst.

Like was already pointed out, they could have arranged their own post-season if they wanted to, like FCS did.

Was the FCS offered access to the playoff?
