It was such a conspiracy they didn't want anyone to know about it until after the election.

    That's good thinking.

Everyone and their mother knew that Hilary was a sure thing.  That's why Obama mocked Trump publicly for suggesting anyone could rig an election.  Cheating is how you curry favor in the next administration.  After the unthinkable happened, the backup plan went into effect.  Comey et al leaked their meddling to the press knowing it would lead to various trouble for the President.

I think you already know much of what you feign ignorance of.  you are in this thread most waking hours and hanging on every news report.

In the case of the SC, it's conspiracy with Russians.

There is still the matter of the 14 other investigations that have been farmed out to other U.S. attorneys.

The conspiracy was between the Obama Administration and the Hilary campaign.

When did Florida finally grow balls? This is great. Arizona State could be a conference game by then (this is bait for the realignment people)

Wait? No trip to Tampa now? Was kinda looking forward to that.

Not a fan of rotating UTSA and UTEP every year but the LHN needs its cupcake game.

Also, there are holes in our 2022 and 2023 schedules that still have to be filled. A little strange to not keep the away game in 2022 to Tampa. Maybe a quicky home and home is still in the works.

I know,  UF was like the Michigan of the South.  It's like they've ceded scheduling to the tv networks.

Anyone want to guess what Cali will be boycotting you for by 2030?  I'd guess not extending personhood to tumbleweed.

People on this board have been all about the collusion and conspiracy aspect before the Mueller Report came out. Calling Trump a Russian Agent.  A Manchurian Candidate. That shit is just not true. I have always argued against that bullshit. That was my main concern.

Now if you want to pivot to obstruction because Mueller didn't make a call that's your choice. Barr did and I am ready to move on. That's it.

Yeah but they never actually say what they mean.  Repeating the name of the crime over and over without naming the actions that supposedly constitute  collusion/obstruction/tax evasion.  That's why I never used the "witch hunt" metaphor.  Even those who accused others of witchcraft back when it was a crime had to name specific acts of sorcery.

Can someone please clarify why Mueller did not provide a different recommendation on the obstruction of justice charge?

Mueller strikes me as a company man.  It's not in his Department's interest to gamble on a Hail Mary theory to prosecute their superior for the fuzzy crime of Obstruction.  So he fired at as many associates as he could hit before the new Sheriff came in and called it a day.

The material impact Russia's interference had on the 2016 election was rather miniscule and dwarfed by other events (such as Comey reopening the investigation), and indeed far less than the kind of interference we have had in Russia's and many other nations' elections.  Any normal person not infected with Russiagate-syndrome would not have the same kind of response as the infected in view of that context.

Has anyone blamed the Russians for Hilary receiving more popular votes than Trump?

Your mind is so fucking warped that you think Mueller is the same as Giuliani? You guys are like a tag team of fucking morons. One of you posts stupid shit for a while and then tags out so someone else can take your place.

It's a parody of what your deep state butt buddies already did Mr Stewart.  There just aren't any donkeys who will defend your own side anymore.

These are actually very important questions.

I said months ago the person most to watch was Rosenstein and something like, “the shit should hit the fan just after his last day.”

Tomorrow is Rod Rosenstein’s last day.

What I didn’t see coming was Mueller outlasting Rosenstein at DOJ.

My new analysis is Mueller has unfinished business and it could be counterintelligence related.

The important thing to remember is the biggest counterintelligence investigation in US history is likely still ongoing while Mueller is on the clock.

Operation Crossfire Hurricane was how this whole thing got started and it probably hasn’t ended.  Also, pay attention to the intelligence committees in Congress.

Well we might need a special counsel to investigate Biden's Ukranian ties.  I would like Mueller to assemble a team of R donors including the former lawyer for the Trump foundation.  Julliani can supervise. At least that way the Ds will cry for the release of the unredacted warrant application.

  9. I don't get this.  Any barely competent con mixes some obvious truth in with the lie.  Do you think the FISA application explicitly declared the dossier came from the opposing party's paid research.

9 hours ago, Al Bundy's Napoleon Hand said:

You're suggesting none of the information in the dossier is true. Like it's one big lie. That suggestion, or in Trump's case, explicit statements, that the entire Steele dossier is fake is in itself a lie. Also, you're conflating unverified raw intel with intentional lies. Even in a court of law with a higher bar to clear, you can be charged with a multitude of crimes, be convicted of some and aquitted of some. That still makes you guilty.

Would Carter Page's FISA warrant have been approved by the FISC judge without inclusion of the dossier material in the application ?  I'm guessing that's a Yes.  Does inclusion of properly represented dossier material disqualify application of other material that, used alone, would result in approval of the Page FISA warrant?  I don't see how.

Doesn't matter.  IF you lie to your spouse about where you were last night, you can't cleanse it by showing you didn't really have an affair.  Your honesty and motives are warped for good.

A federal magistrate judge has overturned the 2017 child endangerment conviction of former Penn State President Graham Spanier.

The ruling from U.S. Magistrate Judge Karoline Mehalchick was issued on the eve of the date that Spanier was scheduled to report to Centre County Correctional Facility near Bellefonte to begin serving a two-month prison term.

He only got two months?  Spanier should bargain to waive the appeals in return for work release and furlough.

Bowl games pay out money for both winners and losers. I'd have to look at the accounting behind those payouts but I would imagine that every participant is at least breaking even when it comes to bowl-associated costs for their program.

I thought they pay out in tickets you can't even give away.

Are you dumb?  The avatar is because I went to school at LBJ.  Did you go to some grad school named after Nixon?  If not then shut the fuck up because your argument is dumb.

Hilary Rodham would be a more suitable avatar

First, LBJ was before my time.  LBJ has some pretty significant legislative accomplishments.  And like other presidents he had issues as well namely Vietnam.  I would take him over Trump if that’s what you are angling for.

Well if I showed up bashing Obama with a Nixon avatar I'd expect people to demand an explanation of why one was better than the other.

Not even the allegations levied against Donald Trump approach the level of what is believed about LBJ.  Here's the liberal media on election meddling.

You know I have noticed a trend.  A lot of the dipshits on this thread taking a victory lap in regards to the report, that while did not result in direct charges did reveal a lot of shit this POTUS has done or tried to do, are conspicuously absent from the Trump thread.  Where is the defense of him and the drivel he spews daily?

Its almost like they are more concerned with their “team” winning than America winning.  Bigly sad!

Have you read the latest biography of your avatar?  or maybe just an interview with the author?

edit: or do you have me on ignore?

edit2: Rosenstein gets the iron throne.

What material from the FBI's investigation of the Trump campaign was leaked by Hillary?

Comey for one was leaking FBI stuff.  Some are arguing that he was scheming to get a special counsel appointed just right after the election.  But not just him, the other deep staters were in on the backup plan too.

    Primary issue also not visible:

James Comey's handing of the Clinton press conference likely had the single greatest external influence on the election results (538 Link). Another issue that wasn't visible in the report was the Russian disinformation operation targeting the FBI that influenced Comey's decision to hold that press conference (WaPo Link). Wonder why the former Director of the FBI would leave something as potentially impactful to the election, driven right through the halls of the FBI, out of the report on Russian election interference?

It wasn't that the voting public was aghast to discover that Crooked Hillary had broken protocol as much as reminded that she'd done it for the 20th time.  A web search for "straight Hillary" returns only "Let me get this straight Hillary,"

The Russians might have influenced by flooding Facebook with bots. But, that made social media slightly less biased instead of the near uniform support Obama had over Romney.   I predict Zuckerberg et al are working hard to make sure their platforms are appropriately rigged in 2020.

Great planning by Hillary. "Hey guys, let's launder falsified intelligence to our buddies at the FBI, who just fucking love Democrats and hate Republicans, to initiate a counterintelligence investigation into Trump's campaign to help us win the election. Then, and this is the real genius, let's never publicly reveal or in any way use any information gleaned from that investigation until after the election has already occurred, but let's make sure to go to Mitch fucking McConnell and ask him to put out a bipartisan statement that Russia is trying to tamper with the election. And to really throw the hounds off our trail, we'll tell our good buddy James Comey to publicly re-open the investigation into me a week before the election."

Well it's the same Hilary who set up a private email server to evade scrutiny, apparently unaware that the other correspondents would have emails on different servers.  But to your point there was aggressive leaking by the Clinton machine cronies and opportunists jockeying for favor after the obvious Hilary victory.

The irony here is the Republican talking points during the 2016 election about Hillary’s hacked emails versus their talking points with the Dossier/Mueller investigation.

October 2016: “It doesn’t matter where the emails came from or who hacked them, it’s what is in the emails that is important.”

April 2019:  “It doesn’t matter how accurate the information is or what crimes are exposed in the Dossier/Mueller investigation, what is important is who funded it and where it originated.”

I think the irony is that no one remembers what was in Hilary and DNCs emails.  They couldn't match what we already know.

Also ironic, the D faithful blame the hackers and not the authors.
