  1. At this rate Keith may be finishing this broadcast by himself
  2. I think he is out Either way there needs to be an ass chewing over the base running this weekend
  3. Finally the baseball gods let us blow this series open That ball started to the left of the Longhorn in CF lol
  4. Helluva play by Riojas
  5. Not good from Luke
  6. Listed at 6’0 180 lbs on their website, there is absolutely no way
  7. That Martinez kid has a lot of potential if he could develop a slider. Just has nothing else to keep hitters from sitting on his changeup
  8. May need a mound visit from Max
  9. Going to be crucial to get Navarre innings to try and bring him along. Kade Bing now the top lefty out of the pen, not good
  10. Mendoza is en fuego
  11. Winfield is up there trying to hit the ball rather than do his job and it shows in every AB. Now up to 12 Ks and 0 Walks in 25 at bats. Up there hoping to get a hit with little to no approach
  12. Appreciate it, haven’t been able to find any site that tracks splits which is understandable given the amount of research that would take with how massive the collegiate player pool is
  13. If we lay off the low changeup, Martinez doesn’t really have anything else to put you away Kimble has had such shit luck
  14. I’d there any collegiate site that tracks splits for individual players?
  15. Grand Canyon up 10-2 on Texas Tech… Yikes
  16. Wasn’t pretty but a W is a W, some bad breaks offensively coupled with dumbass base running. Spencer and Grubbs were nails against a scrappy Santa Clara team
  17. I don’t know how you hit that any harder
  18. Santa Clara is playing deep in the outfield
  19. Approach at the plate is better, conscious effort to draw walks. Coaching staff and support staff are elite. Schloss does a good job not sugarcoating anything with the players, lets his assistants be good cop. Max Weiner will be very hard to hold onto for an extended period of time but Schlossnagle attracts up and coming coaches who want to learn how to run a program. Pierce had elite teams here but his inability to put together an elite staff (specifically on the pitching side because of his stubbornness) decayed the program the last 2-3 years.
  20. One thing this staff does not do is sit on their hands, that is for sure
  21. Navarre is going to be a good one, would like to see more of him on Tuesdays tailing Flores
  22. Will be curious to see if they start using Bing more as an opener than a true starter
  23. Texas Tech is in some deep shit at 2-7… I don’t know where they would turn if they fired Tadlock but he is not equipped to handle the NIL era
  24. Washington up 8-5 on Tech in the bottom of the 4th
