  1. Stop it. Budget max is $50k.

If that’s the budget, I say two boats. 30k on gently used 21’ I/o bowrider (chaparral or cobalt if you find a good deal). 20k on used 18’ center console for fishing.

  2. My boys don’t shower unless I ask them to. I take a shower every other day normally (unless I exercise) so the shower issue won’t be hard to handle.

My wife takes shower every time I sex her....When I’m being a bad ass with rv shit that is actually happening with frequency, so grey tank is gonna get filled up and fuck the dishes. I have been known to piece together a couple poop hoses and stretch them out to woods and let some grey water out at 3am. Don’t judge me, gonna get laid

  3. Semi pro tip: Get a cheap mop bucket.  If you ever fill up the gray while the black still has space, you can dump a little gray into the bucket, take it inside and pour it in the toilet.  It's not elegant by any means but gets the job done.

Absolutely have done this. With showers and family of four(what I was dealing with) those grey tanks fill up fast.

Another tip: do not dump black tank unless you have a full, or mostly full, grey tank to get a proper flushing.

After dumping black, I would close black valve and open grey valve. After about 30 seconds I would open black valve again and let some of the grey back pressure back flush, then close black valve and let grey finish draining. Once done I would disconnect hose from camper and hold it high and wash with water hose while other end still connected to sewer for a couple minutes.

    Edit:

When weather permits and filling grey tank is concern, make use of outdoor shower. Shower is by far the biggest culprit

  4. The short answer is they are all equally shitty! I think the same corporate conglomerate that owns airstream also owns Jayco and many others. They all have different levels of trim and finish out. I’ve owned two Jayco eagles and have been relatively happy with how they held up.

  5. My next question will be taking the EIDL. My business was shot by the quarantine. Like from Corona commercial "crushed it" to a broke phone in a span of 2 weeks. It's gotten better in the last few weeks as I hit some big licks. But I feel like we are coming out of this too early and the shit is going to hit the fan again, and harder. And if I refuse it, I could be in a tough spot.
Shouldn't I just take the max money and see what happens over the short term of the next 6 months to a year?

Same boat. Not exactly needed, but fearful of the future. I took 24900 and will hold it. 25000 and above has collateral/insurance requirements. if needs dictate i can increase amount and get more at later date. Did not want to refuse loan with looming uncertainty. Interest is sunk cost and treating it like insurance for the time being.

  6. I like the outdoors, I like creature comforts, I like gadgets, and I like road trips. It’s not about people it’s about the intersection of these likes with the people I love.

Precisely. Real bed, air conditioning, own facilities. It’s camping, without the poors.
  7. My all time favorite park was a place in Kerrville. It’s been many years and can’t remember the name of the place. It was on the river, so days were lounging down in river. Had a bar and locals would come and do karaoke and shit at night, lots of fun. Had like three swimming pools, one of them adult only.

Palmetto state park is also nice rv spot for a nice easy weekend getaway.

  8. I would murder one of you guys for my childhood Losi jrx pro back. My dumb ass traded it for an ounce of dirt weed sometime in the early 90s

My son has a bunch of nitro now and races them around homemade tracks in the back that they make.

Here’s my only hold out. I can still fire this up and whip his ass. Team Associated gt2
