    500 gallon propane tank
    10kW propane generator
Rainwater collection w/20k gallon tank (How is the water kept potable for long periods, even a stone cistern can require assistance)
Two wells How are they powered? presuming they are pump driven, what are you doing to test the groundwater?
    Guns/ammo
Dry food for 6 months so refresh every six months? this shit does have a shelf life, its long but...
    Dry seeds/fertilizer
    Couple cases in f Tito’s
Bidets, so fuck toilet paper Genny and well water powered?
    Soap
    Bleach
Basic medical supplies( ibuprofen, antibiotic ointment, bandages, alcohol, vitamins, etc) again, shelf life

these non perishables do go bad and the medicine can lose efficacy and once bought, its easy to forget about this stuff

I add bleach to the cistern periodically. The cistern is for rainwater only, well water does not go in there. The water off metal roof first passes into overflow tubes to catch any roof/gutter debris, the overflow goes to cistern. The water out of the cistern passes through filters (don't know the sizes) and UV light. Once inside, we have further RO filters for drinking water.

The wells are in daily use and are operated by a submersible pump, pressure tank, and pressure pump. My generator can power these. I test my well water at the faucet after the RO system with a TDS meter. I have thought about fitting one of the wells with a hand pump, or at least having one in the shop for emergencies. If shit really hit the fan, I could always pull the submersible pump out of casing and just bring water up with a bucket fashioned from PVC and a rope.

The bidets are powered by the household water pressure. That would be handled by gen at the pressure pump for either the well or rainwater system, depending on whichever I have diverted to the house.

I'm not worried about shelf life. After 5 years I'll just replace the shit.

  2. Flour, rice, sugar, pasta, beans are all vacuum sealed and I figure 5 year shelf life. Once that’s up I’ll just replace them. It’s like $500 worth of food, maybe?

I don’t really consider myself a prepper. The property I bought came with the rain water collection system, cistern, wells, propane tanks. I’ve just added the generator and other supplies.

  3. Had all this before, but....

  4. 95 SV grad, grew up in Bulverde. I remember only one stoplight at Encino park headed into San Antonio. Total shit show now. Bulverde police department for fucks sake. There’s a Walmart at 281/46. Parents made assload of money on 281 frontage properties and we all gtfo 5 years ago. Y’all can have it.

  5. I do the time share thing whenever possible and have never said yes to the scam. It is actually pretty sad seeing all the poors getting beat down and signing just to gtfo. I’ve gotten golf, universal tickets, free weeklong stays, Breck lift tickets, and lots of other free shit. Just did the universal studios ticket one last year and received tickets for all parks, for seven days, family of 4. that was worth several thousand dollars, all for about 2 hours and a free lunch. I actually enjoy explaining to the dumbasses how retarded the idea of buying it would be.

  6. We've got a Bad Boy with a 60 inch deck and  a Kubota with a 54 inch deck both are good mowers. I'd buy something with a Kawasaki engine for your 1 acre. Hard to beat Ferris, Gravely, Hustler or Bad Boy. Scag and Kubota will cost $$$ but they will outlast you with basic maintenance.
Also if you want a Deere then go to your nearest tractor dealership.

Agree. Hustler zero turn w/ Kawasaki engine at lowes best bang for your buck
  7. Don’t know if should go here or the high thread. So wife is a big square, but past year been hearing stories by multiple gf’s of hers how ammmazing Colorado gummies are. So I bought her a bag awhile back and she really liked them. Problem is that bag I bought her was a bag of micro dose 2.5mg shit. She has no idea/care about that kind of detail. Fast forward a few months and she runs out of those. So I get some more recently and they didn’t have the micro dose bag. I figured she could just portion each one out and be the same, so I told her I’d bring some more home. I get home and settle in, hang with kids and jump in the shower. She gets the shit out and f my carry on before I have a chance to explain and pops one. I’m the asshole an hour later.
