The likes for this post are like a rogue’s gallery of no CR safe spacers.

The inverse is true of the "yeah, but we know what we know because of an isolated photo not comparing the ropes of multiple stalls,  while also ignoring the video from last year showing multiple hand loops in garages at Talladega, and oh...ignoring the findings of the FBI investigation." crowd.

Our valley ain’t fucking around. Masks everywhere and you can’t walk into an establishment without one. I’m in Ruidoso right now...it’s full of West Texans, maybe 40% mask usage? That’s actually higher than I was expecting, but not high enough to spare this town...just a matter of time before every community gets hit.

went to NM last week.  First rattle out of the box, in Santa Rosa on I-40, the Pilot travel center had signs on the door requiring masks.  My wife and I complied.   We go in and at least 1 out of 5 folks have no mask.   Whatever.

We get to Ruidoso and see exactly what you described. As much shit as I talk, we do actually wear ours in the public places.  It was weird as hell seeing older folks not wearing masks.  "Dude and Dudette...if anyone needs the masks, it's you."

I did get a kick out of the roadblocks on the road going to Inn of the Mountain Gods.   I went to the little casino on the main road and masks were required.   No smoking allowed.  That was cool with me...but no table games.  Stayed about 10min and split.

I don't get too caught up in what other folks are doing.  I'm gonna do the right thing by us and not tempt fate.  If we're wrong and overdoing it, it's still our choice.

I'm TERRIBLE with knots.  Find the easiest knot for any circumstance, and that's the one I'll pick.  I have the manual dexterity of a 100 year old blind gorilla with Parkinsons.  And my vision ain't getting any better, either.  The day you have to tuck readers into your fishing vest is a sad day.

    Gotdam.   You win...

    LOLz.

  4. I like that reaction.  During the riots, there were multiple incidents of black PROTESTERS telling rioters to GTFO with their bullshit because it detracted from the real message.

They are correct.  The disruptors and soy boys need to go back to their basements.  They are actually damaging/ curtailing the dialogue/ conversation that needs to happen in this country.

“It wasn’t a hate crime targeted at a black driver, we’ve just got a lot of people that like to make nooses when there’s rope available” ain’t the defense some of you seem to think it is.

Nor is it remotely a crime against humanity some of you want it to be.

Y'all back on Day 2 still diggin...    Impressive.

i mean, that's a fucking noose, and in the garage of the black nascar guy would garner some attention during this time of upheaval, even if all the garages had noose pull ropes. so it might not have been a hate crime, but that shit is a noose.

    for ants?

It's a pull handle at the end of a rope used all over the world when people need to close an overhead door.

    Go the 2:55 mark...

Me too. I've always been on the 72 hours from total societal collapse wagon. I am pretty amazed that we have held up this long. Basically boils down to power grid, water supply to urban areas, or gasoline. COVID gonna have to hit one of those to really have a chance for tipping over the edge.

Power grid  going out...LOLz.  Hurrications turn to shit after about the 4th or 5th day without AC.

Neighbors start turning on each other and some holy shit! moments ensue.  I mean people who WERE friends.   Can't imagine it with folks on "the other side" going at each other.

Nice to see Slorch and Sack are back to backing the blue unequivocally.

because Gatorbet is so fucking reasonable, right?

and no, I haven't remotely been backing the blue.   Don't get your panties bunched up because of one pause in hopes of one rational thought by the cop hater.

You people are so fucking ridiculous.  If someone doesn't hate something with 2000% of the intensity of the sun, they somehow support that something or someone.

  10. Read the Houston 5 thread.  Virtually nobody sides with the cops, even early.   Then when news comes out of the multiple layers of corruption and misdeeds, the hammer swings mightily in all directions blue.

Read the Minneapolis thread and virtually nobody sides with the cops.  The challenge of their jobs is recognized, but the judgment of their specific actions is repeatedly and soundly denounced.

There's a definite target we need to stay focused on.   It's not the media, necessarily.  Injustice needs to be erased.  Then we may focus on the peripheral bullshit like feelings.

Exactly.  If you want baseball, get a satellite or cable subscription.  They have made the choice that that is better for their business.

Or a VPN.  It is 2020 after all.

reddit had better still work.   I think i missed one Astros game last season that I wanted to see...
