That being said, IMHO, it's like asking a car manufacturer what percentage of your assemblers use pneumatic/ electric wrenches? Is it different than turning the nuts/ bolts by hand? Yeah. Is in inherently bad? no. Is the productivity increased? Massively. Hell, Santa at our house ain't doing shit without a cordless screwdriver any more. -

I ran into that a bit when I first was dating my now-wife. I just ordered whatever I wanted at dinner and showed up to family functions with beer and wine. She and her siblings soon followed suit, and the in-laws got used to it.
I would never have brought booze to my mom's house, but all bets were off when she came to ours. Same goes for my in-laws. It was never a big deal.
Respect their wishes. Have what we would normally have at our place. People tended to hang out longer when everyone came to our house, and from that you can draw your own conclusions. -

The Big XII started in 1996. Surely all opinions are the same now.
Texas has been gone for 2 years, give or take. Good for them.
Not gonna dispute your retorts, because they were true enough for some for them to have happened. It's an embarrassment, to be honest.
There is still an element in our fanbase that don't give a fuck. And some of us never have or will do the horns down. Be who the fuck you are. Keep strivin every day. That's the very fiber of people insane enough to settle, eek out a living, and dare to prosper in West Texas. Not everyone wants to be there, and that's cool too.
Wreck Em!!!

nah, it's more of a "stop worrying about kids' feelings and provide proper direction as parents. Reward desired behavior and be deliberate as stewards of our youth. Confidence comes from achievement, not the lack of red ink on a test or lack of a trophy for a non-winning effort" thing.
Then again, and I have admitted this many times; there's not a lot of political capital in my answers; but they are effective AF. -

You'd love his employer. No layoffs in the history of the company. Still privately owned.
Yes, he develops code, as do others on his immediate team.
