The problem there is only ND is going to get that money.   There are no properties in the ACC that rival ND.  They'll get paid twice as much with a fraction of the exit issue.  I would be very surprised if there are enough teams in the ACC to remove the GoR and if they don't, they lose their broadcast rights through 2036 - on top of a 3-year revenue buyout.

That isn't to say some couldn't make more outside the ACC, but they likely can't make the numbers work for the B1G/SEC for them to be added and the added money the Big 12 could give them won't cover what they'll have to pay to leave.   The only reason USC/UCLA worked is they made BTN >$100m in increased affiliate fees alone.

The four so far happened because they announced they were leaving on the end of the current GoR, and they still owe buyouts (just less, as the Big 12 is two years of revenue), the ACC is in a much different spot.  ND could leave and it won't impact the handcuffs.

Schools are using the ND excuse to negotiate deals behind everyone’s back while under the guise of “waiting for the dominoes to fall” because of ND. Schools are making moves while hiding behind the wall of waiting for an ND move to secure their spots in the future of college football.

When Ed murders Danny when the latter eventually spills that he went MILF hunting with Karen, I'm not sure how you hide the body on Mars.

Karen will think it’s noble that Ed told her about killing Danny and will fall back in love with Ed. She’ll make sure Danny gets a proper burial on Mars along with getting the same recognition his parents got for losing their lives in the line of space duty.

  3. I never said ND is included in the ACC GoR. What I’m saying is that schools are using the “waiting on ND” line as an excuse to stall negotiations. Schools are trying to see how much ND can get to join the Big Ten/SEC to see if it makes sense to blow up existing TV contracts and move somewhere else.

It's not the schools, its the conferences. Big 10 won't consider Stanford, Oregon, or Cal until ND makes a move. SEC won't expand unless Big 10 does. Oregon and Washington won't consider a move other than the Big 10 which is waiting on Notre Dame. It's clogging up everything. I just want to know where this fucking ends.

I think the SEC/ESPN is waiting to see how much the Big Ten pays for Notre Dame in order to set market value for breaking the ACC GoR contract.

I'm getting sick of always having to account for ND in all of these realignment and playoff discussions. We need a unified and final realignment so we all know what the fuck is going on.

“Waiting on ND” is a bullshit idea thrown out there to scare schools into not making a move. Who gives a fuck about Notre Dame? If a program is waiting to make a move based on what ND does, they need to rethink their whole college football strategy.

Sure, but parents don't bring in any money so they don't matter.

Parents influence the recruits. Once they realize going to Big Ten schools means paying higher taxes on NIL earnings (no CR), it’s gonna be a tough sell. The cold winters don’t help either.

The USC/UCLA move is what Burton warned us about for years. If Texas didn’t join the SEC they’d have to make a similar move. Weird geographic fit, one or fewer travel partners, constant time zone issues, and harming the non-revenue sports.

The Trojans and Bruins had to do it, but they got what got for being reactive.

This move was the right move for the LA schools to take. The Pac 12 was already dying since they haven’t been competitive in years. The East Coast doesn’t give a shit about Pac football if they’re kicking off at 9PM.

Future moves will be aligned in the vein of Pac 12/Big 12 to Big Ten. Larger schools will go to the Big Ten and the Big Pac mashup remnants will be for Fox to decide what’s best for viewership.

ACC teams will lean toward the SEC and ESPN. I would not be surprised if the SEC takes Clemson, UNC, Duke, and FSU to give the kill shot to the ACC.

People say Duke will never join the SEC, but schools know they have to join one or the other at this point to remain viable. Adding UNC and Duke to the SEC gives the conference lower tier football competition while creating more control in the basketball realm. The SEC gains another few football Vandys for their divisions to kick around while gaining control of college basketball by having UK, Duke, and UNC in the same conference.

  8. UCLA & USC are two schools in the SAME city two time zones away from the rest of the Big Ten. This move makes Fox look desperate to pump up the Big Ten as a super conference on par with ESPN and the new SEC.

Adding USC to the Big Ten is Fox’s way of signaling Notre Dame to join. They’re pressing their titties up to the glass and shouting for Notre Dame to suck on both nipples of their rivalries with USC and Michigan.

  9. The Big Ten can have Notre Dame. They suck dick when it comes to winning big games. They gave the ACC blue balls by using them for other sports but still remaining “independent” in football. Going into business with someone so non-committal usually ends up being a huge mistake.

The Big Ten can have ND so they can continue their rivalries with USC and Michigan. I don’t want to hear Mike Golic + Jr. gargling ND’s balls and coming up for air with a gold ring around their mouths every fucking week in the SEC.

  10. This is all consolidating into 2 superconferences: SEC (ESPN) vs B1G (Fox) driven by the TV deals. The remaining schools need to claw their way in before the 20 (maybe 22) slots fill up and everyone else is left behind and considered G5 level competition.

It still is. The only question now is whether there will be a third super conference that can be cobbled together by the remnants of the Pac, B12 and ACC.

Aside from Clemson, the remnants of these 3 conferences suck ass. If they tried to make a 3rd super conference, they’d be viewed as inferior G5 level of competition.

College football is likely headed for 2 super conferences of 20 teams each. SEC (ESPN) vs B1G (Fox) TV contracts are driving the whole thing. The remaining schools need to claw their way into these 2 conferences before all 20 slots are filled up.

Texas/OU leaving to the SEC is the same as USC/UCLA leaving to the B1G - the biggest schools in their conferences said the relationship is dead and the Big 12/Pac 12 cannot be saved.

It’s hot, and we are doing an Arizona type of hot experience. I’m enjoying it. The lack of humidity is nice. It feels great to get my trash cans from the curb and not be sweating like a pig once it’s done. It’s nice to not feel that fucking humidity the second I open the door. Now I know why people from Florida are insane, it’s the fucking swamp humidity. It sucks ass even when it’s 85 degrees and you go outside and you’re sweating just from standing outside.

I bet when NBC “scored” this exclusive interview with Turd (that I’m sure they didn’t pay her for) that she told them she had proof that Johnny hit her and then they got handed a binder of stuff she claims to have told a therapist that likely never would be admitted at any trial and she never mentioned prior to losing in America.

The judge called all of Amber’s therapist notes hearsay. Judge did Amber a favor by not admitting them and prevented a potential tampering charge. Look at the handwriting, it’s clearly Amber’s. Handwriting evidence is so subjective and it’s hard to prove who wrote it.

After watching the trial, it became clear Amber was the aggressor. She was taunting & picking at Johnny to get him to respond to her attention.

Watching the NBC interview, it’s clear she is mentally ill and has problems accepting reality. She believes all the lies she’s telling and not just trying to sell us a lie. There’s a big difference between someone who knows they are feeding you a pile of bullshit and someone who believes their lies no matter how stupid and untrue they seem. The more I hear from her, the more I’m surprised Johnny didn’t die of an OD in her presence.

Stopped outside Amarillo for gas and it felt like someone was aiming a leaf blower across a bonfire at my face.

As hot as it is, I prefer the burning oven air blowing in my face than the swamp ass I get from being outside for a few minutes with the humidity.

  15. AR-15s do serious damage, but I had no idea various types of ammunition made such a difference. Check out this video where the guy shoots a boned pork shoulder with different types of bullets. There’s a lot of talking describing the ammunition, but it shows detailed camera views of entrance and exit wounds in the meat. Way different than seeing ballistic gel examples that don’t get blown apart so easily. It’s hard to stomach thinking of people getting struck by these things, especially small children.
