Indiana is a good team. They beat Ohio State without their #1 receiver who went down in the first quarter. We couldn’t even beat Ohio State with our #1 Wingo on the field.
The 2008 & 2009 teams were averaging around 40 points per game so it wasn’t like Colt had many opportunities to throw game winning TDs when our offense was going all gas no brakes under Mack Brown.
Both Smart and Day reached the National Championship game in Year 2 (both loses) and some people are still here in Year 6 of Sark pumping up his resume because of his two back-to-back semifinal loss appearances. I get the point you’re trying to make about winning it all in Year 6, but that seems like a reach when we can’t even get invited to the playoff in Year 5 with a multimillion dollar roster.
If smart & strategic scheduling (as opposed to a having a disciplined, well-coached team) is what’s needed to get into the CFP, then we should’ve just stayed in the shithole Big 12 and we could’ve had a permanent yearly spot in the CFP like Texas Tech will for the foreseeable future.
Don’t forget to mention how Cignetti has to constantly babysit his team in order to make sure they have the 4th fewest penalties in the Big Ten while Sark trusts his team enough to let them be at the bottom of the SEC in penalties. It takes a true genius to come out of bye weeks & timeouts with delay of game and false start penalties because Sark deeply trusts in his offensive vision and player discipline.
MTG didn’t suddenly have an epiphany that Trump was bad. She’s pissed off that Trump cockblocked her from running for Senate in Georgia and now she’s burning his MAGA house down. MTG has never flip flopped on advocating for the victims & calling for the release of the Epstein files. Everyone has known Trump was in those files for years. The problem is that MTG never turned on Trump until he threw her aside. The worst enemies to have are the ones who know you the best.
MTG is a piece of shit racist. Her saying rational shit about defunding Israel is like 2016 aggy saying we should fire Charlie Strong because our football team looks like absolute shit. When even our biggest enemies can recognize something we also see as a problem, then it’s a huge fucking problem that needs to be corrected. We weren’t gonna keep Strong around just to prove aggy wrong and we shouldn’t do the same with defunding Israel just because the biggest POS racist in Congress has the same opinion on the issue.
I understand what you’re trying to say here in terms of Texas being relevant, but saying everyone knows we “played our playoff games during the season and came up short” sounds so fucking aggy even if it’s true.
Christmas with my family was an eye opener because of all the Israel talk with my right wing relatives. My brother has shifted from MAGA to America First. He still likes Trump, but he firmly stands with MTG when it comes to not sending funds to Israel. I almost pinched myself when he said he’d rather see taxpayer money go to fat blue haired liberals who want to teach their trans children how to hate God because at least they’re fucking Americans who don’t kill innocent people by bombing hospitals and hiding behind their religion. My brother is actually interested in what Talarico has to say even though Talarico is a dirty liberal because he isn’t a slave to AIPAC funds. Progress…I guess? What seems clear to me is that defunding Israel is something that can seriously unite people this country, which means it’s never going to happen.
I must have confused the accomplishment of Sark’s offense finally having a 2025 game with a 100 yard rusher during aggy as Tre having 1,000 yards in a season since they kept going on about it on tv and I was pretty drunk that night.
This OL was rolling on the floor all over each other and Wisner still managed to break 1,000 yards this season. His agent probably demanded it like this.
Why didn’t Muschamp join when Sark was initially hired? I keep seeing that he was Sark’s 1st choice but don’t know why it took him 5 years to get here.
I still think it’s a setup for Sark’s exit next year. We hire Muschamp for DC (when clearly offense was the problem) and everyone is overjoyed. Then when Sark leaves for the NFL next year and takes his butt buddies Flood and Banks with him, we won’t be left with our dicks in our hands because we have Coach Boom to step up and be the HC. Then everyone is overjoyed once again.
Think about it, if Sark has the same staff as 2025 and then leaves after 2026 taking everyone with him, we look like fools without having someone waiting in the wings to take over the way Muschamp can possibly do now.
