WR Johnny Wilson measured in at 6'6 220 lbs. at the LA Regional Opening today.
Yep, sign me up.

Katy. He has ties to fucking Katy and he's going to A&M. It's Whoopception.
This shit rolling out about his recruiting prowess is coming from fucking Hamm and Billy FFS. Getting 4* kids from Louisiana to choose LSU isn't exactly "recruiting". Look at his classes and OkState and compare them to previous OL coaches at OkState. He may well be a good OL coach and developer and being an upgrade over The Marine is a fucking given but don't read too much into his time at OkState -- it's clear that Gundy is the straw that stirs the drinks and staff members can come and go but that dude remains and keeps getting it done and the offense never really changes.
I remember when I was excited Joe Wickline was coming to Texas...worked out real fucking well lol

Dude was LSU's recruiting coordinator under Les Miles. In terms of his recruiting impact it's a very good hire, especially for O-linemen. He has a lot of Texas ties.
Quick glance at his 247 history shows he was good at recruiting Louisiana guys to LSU but the highest rated guy he’s pulled out of Texas was his Katy OL from this year.

Allegedly the view is that Jones is a year away from being ready, but if they don't get a grad transfer in, he's going in early. It's mostly a strength and size thing, not a capabilities thing.
Sounds similar to Cosmi this year?

So Brian Williams committed to Aggy because of Elko...
That might not work out like he thought it would.
How fucking bizarre that Aggies first commitment of 2019 and their ring leader still hasn’t been to a home game.

I have Brock included in the five. He could end up being the best one. There's also a chance that we'll take his brother as a scholarship player, depending on how well he develops. I think Jackson is a tackle everywhere except for the five or so schools in the country who actually have good enough tackles to bump him inside to his NFL position. Foster apparently loves Texas, and has the second highest odds of being in the class out of these five.
It's too early to start mocking some of these guys into our class for various reasons, but I'm just pointing out how aggie posters are under the impression that they lead for all of them except for Brock, similar to how they for some reason think they have a really good shot with Garth.
Brockermeyer, Fatheree, Conner, Foster and possibly the other Brockermeyer at C might be the ideal class.

...when does the Chip Brown hit-piece come out? He’s slacking a little this year.
I’m just waiting for Zach Smith’s pictures of Herman doing coke off of stripper titties.

I didn't check back too far but didn't see anything about Ellison, so here's the update from Hamm Lite

Damn I hate to see the marine go, hopefully the next OL coach will still load up on fat Guards.
Hopefully Jimbo calls up his old pal Rick Trickett

Twin brothers, I believe their older brother is Seth Green a QB from the 2016 class who looks like he plays TE for Minnesota now.

Stud.... #32 seems unusual for his position
Malcolm Roach and Eddie Jones are both DE’s who wore/wear 32

IT absolutely isn't confident. Where do you guys come up with this shit?
In their update on the last page they said they were confident he would make the visit right now and that if so Texas would have the advantage heading into NSD2.

Probably, though with Epps(TE), Whittington(RB), and McCoy(OLB) and only 6 other viable WRs after 2019, maybe not.
Mookie, Kelvontay Dixon and one of Omerie or Demas.

This would be the most insane thing that's happened since I started following Longhorn recruiting.
I started following in ‘05 with fucking Ryan Perriloux and this would definitely top that.

This staff seems to prefer adding weight to OL recruits rather than shedding. If that picture is current, maybe they weren’t pressing as hard as they could? Looks to have long arms though.
Thank God for him he has long arms or he might have a hard time reaching around to wipe his ass.

Turns out Kelvontay Dixon did visit today. His unofficial count must be approaching double digits at this point.
Would have to think it’s only a matter of time here.

Does Mr. Broughton have any eligibility left? He looks like he could log a few snaps for us next year.
Anybody crazy enough to get a brand let alone 2 will fucking kill you.

So we're doing the dad thing now too. Ok then.
Think it’s weird as fuck but if it helps get kids like Broughton to come home then I’m all for it.

I wonder how much impact MM has on recruits lol
Definitely can’t hurt, that 3 piece burnt orange suit is a thing of beauty.

Reuben Fatheree is on campus today too, his dad posted some pics on twitter.

I see Jordan as more of a home-run hitting RB2 while Mookie is the do-everything slot.
This, I Think Mookie is more slot and Ty is a perfect take now as a RB2 to compliment Evans and protect us against the chance we miss on him.

EJ’s updates on Evans and George:
RB Zachary Evans, North Shore (2020) — Perhaps the most important recruit in the 2020 class, Evans is making his way to Texas yet again. He visited UT more than any other school last calendar year, and the Longhorns have put themselves in a strong spot to land the generational talent. Evans is also high on schools like Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M, but UT has a ton of momentum here.
OL Damieon George, North Shore (2020) — A mammoth offensive tackle, George is one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2020 class. George was thought to be leaning towards playing in the SEC, but Texas is surging in this recruitment. George loved the way the Longhorns played in the Sugar Bowl and is excited about getting down to Austin. George and the aforementioned Evans would love to play together, and Texas is a school of mutual interest.

Basically Premium sports is like Fast 7 on 7 or such and I believe the Matt V guy is the founder so he’s essentially the Ro Simon or FWK of California. Good thing for us this guy seems to be in our corner.
