  1. OL Jaylen Garth, Port Neches-Groves (2020) — Garth may be another prospect to monitor this weekend. While he really likes Texas A&M, UT has been separating itself as the team to beat over the last month. The staff has been making a hard push with Garth, and like most prospects, he was impressed with the way UT played in the trenches in the Sugar Bowl. Garth was a teammate of Texas signee Roschon Johnson, and the two are extremely close.

EJ added this update to his weekend preview and then posted in the comments to read inbetween the lines and out his coffee emoji. Real inconspicuous

Maybe the assistant coach at North Shore that used to be at Lamar?  Rheagins?

This is what I am thinking as well, if so one of you sob’s out there in Houston better to get him a steak dinner. That man is doing the lords work.

Get a couple of these OL signed early and things could really lean our way with Evans

Have to think there is a realistic scenario where they could push early and have Parr, Lindberg, Majors and Garth locked up before the summer starts. After that all you have to do is work on Damien George and show Evans what he’s going to run behind.

Oh I think it pretty obviously is Junior Day #1 and it was an intentional tactical decision not to publicize it as such so Fisher would be left holding his dick in his hand instead of having time to develop his own countermove.

    This makes the most sense

*trigger warning: Stanford and OL* He's supposed to really like tree, too.

Mike Roach has said a few times recently that if Texas pushes for Majors they could lock him down, I hope we can get it done this weekend.

well that’s really good.  was it in the playoffs that he did not play well?  could’ve sworn I read somewhere here that some team ate his lunch and he couldn’t complete passes but was running around really well.  whatever.  he’s young.  glad to have him.

As stated above I think he had a couple bad games against Westlaks and North Shore but both of those teams had great defenses this year. He also had several games where he lit it up, I’m interested to see how he does on the camp scene this spring and summer.

I was just thinking if we'd take another high school lineman.  We only took 2 in 2017 so taking only 2 this year seems low from a numbers perspective.

The staff visited Henry on Tuesday but I haven't seen anything about him since.

With the emergence of the grad transfer market I’m not as worried but 4 HS OL in 2 years would definitely be far from ideal, 2020 better be a 4-5 man class.

thought I’d read here that he sucks as a passer but he runs all over the field like elroy hirsch.

I hope we take Jackson as a QB/Ath put a RS on him and see what happens but Card definitely isn’t a bad take his Jr stats in 15 games 3543 yards 68% completion 50/4 TD/INT.

I think Jackson could end up like Kenyon Green where he's a guard in the NFL, but a tackle for like 120 college teams, and he'll get recruited like a tackle. If we land Conner or Fatheree to go with Brockermeyer, he could be an interior guy for us, but that will likely be difficult to pull off

Conner should be a tackle, but if we can get him in as a OT/OG, that could potentially help us with Fatheree or Jackson

A 2021 OL class of Brockermeyer, Fatheree, Conner and Foster would be incredible.

Angilau at RT wouldn't surprise me at all, but Hand seems to like him some Okafor. Based on the previous practice reps, I bet Oak gets the first shot at it.

I know he’s most are still expecting him to be another hear away but Christian Jones could factor into the rotation sooner than expected with another off season under his belt.

His dream school is LSU, but those retards already have two 2020 QBs committed. TCU is on him hard, I haven't heard any recent updates on him, but I think we offer him at some point in the spring, once Rising or Thompson officially transfers. Like you said, already having Card in the class makes our chances dubious.

While we're talking QBs, 2021 is interesting to look forward to. Preston Stone will be a 5* top ten in the nation type of prospect, and looks like a more athletic JT Daniels, while Dematrius Davis looks like a fucking stud, is a great dual threat fit in our offense, and whoever lands him will land his 2020 5* WR cousin, Shadrach Banks.

Isn’t Stone an early Texas lean at this point?

I have zero interest in a "charge to 1,000" type deal, but I am curious... apart from a concerted effort of bored stupidity, what would it take to get there? I can't think of any unsigned names that would generate even 10 more pages, let alone 200. There's not going to be a Malikmas type event before NSD2. Shepherd will undoubtedly generate a few more pages of redundant hand-wringing, and people making fun of those who are wringing said hands. Otherwise?  Seems kind of anticlimactic to me.

I think 875-900 is the ceiling, mid 4* thread.
