The Hookfin stuff doesn't really make sense.  Why would the staff all the sudden back?  They've seen him enough in-person.

Also isn’t Hookfin supposed to be the Thursday silent? So he gave a silent came on his OV and changed his mind halfway through?

LSU, Ohio St, Georgia, ou, Michigan, MIami, Florida, Florida St, oklahoma st., there's about 20 other offers.  All uncommittable?  Saban strike you as the type of guy with time to visit "ceremonial, non-committable" offers?  I would tell you to trust guys like Harbaugh and riley over the recruiting dorks, but they have him as a four star as well.

God damn you are a dumb piece of shit

Humble beast all down your arm is kinda stupid... hopefully he makes some NFL money and that goes away.

Not a huge fan of tattoos and think it’s absolutely crazy/stupid for all these 15-18 year old kids to have sleeves and neck tattoos already but there is about .1% of the population that can pull off that tattoo and he’s in it.

That picture is from Floyd's previous visit.

The secret guy is committed to another school. If aggy is that school, could be Leal or Wright.

No it’s not, I saw where those idiots on 247 are saying that, it’s clearly from this weekend as Floyd didn’t have a full arm sleeve until recently and I don’t think him and Adimora have been on campus at the same time.

It always has. Multiple key players on the 2005 team were not from Texas. I don’t know what the magic number is but I think it should be well north of a third these days considering how undeveloped Texas OL and DL are.

I don’t disagree but Studdard and Sendlein were the only non Texas kids on that team that started,  both were also legacies so not sure they even really count.

Sopsher's brother didn't even join the JUCO football team this year. He's going to Bama without the bro

They have 5 public DL commits, 6 if you count Sopsher's silent commit. They might take 7, but as always, Bama is juggling a bunch of elite prospects late and it's anyone's guess as to how exactly it'll fall out. They also might land Kayvon Thibodeaux, but maybe they see him as an OLB, i don't know

247 has them with 7 current DL commits, not that they can’t drop a few of them.

Just gonna toot my own horn and say we posted this yesterday on TFB.

    Was pretty stoked about that.

Kelee Ringo is drinking the Kool-Aid.

    Alright, back to my corner.

So TFB knew it first and Carrington referenced making a movie...

  8. From Oregon 247

Oregon hosted three prospects on the defensive side of the football on Sunday, and one of those was one of the best linebackers at the junior college level.

Three-star linebacker and the third-best junior college outside linebacker Caleb Johnson went to Oregon for his fourth total official visit this weekend. He recapped the visit with the Ducks with DuckTerritory.com.

"It was really smooth, real smooth," said Johnson. "The way they scheduled everything and talked business while showing us around was real good. The coaches all seemed like real good people and wasn't trying to put on a show or anything."

Johnson highlighted his time with Oregon's coaches and players as a big factor in the visit going so well.

"And then the facilities of course," Johnson said of what also stood out.

Johnson was hosted by sophomore cornerback Thomas Graham on the visit. The Ducks have a large number of California-born players on the roster, which was an added bonus to Johnson.

"It's not a huge deal, but yeah, it's really cool considering I played with and against a lot of them and it wouldn't be no type of culture shock or nothing [if I played there]," said Johnson.

The Ducks will have an inside linebacker position open up for competition with the graduation of Kaulana Apelu. The Ducks like Johnson as an inside linebacker and talked about how he could make an impact at Oregon next season right away.

"I'm coming out of junior college and we just talked about how I'm not coming in as a regular recruit," Johnson said. "Not being recruited to develop, I'm being recruited to come in and provide an immediate impact."

Johnson made official visits during the football season to Texas and Arkansas for games at each school. The Ducks obviously didn't have a game-day atmosphere to highlight, but it still made a big impression.

"It was a little different because they had games, but this definitely was one of the better visits I had," said Johnson.

So no crystal balls for Caleb Johnson to Oregon has to be a good sign right?

I wouldn’t count anything yet, sometimes it takes a few days for information to trickle out. Hopefully we hear some good news early this week.

I was just looking at the player rankings for the state of California to find out where De'Gabriel Floyd is ranked within the state (11 for those interested).  I was shocked to see that USC currently only has two of the top 20 players in California committed to them. Oregon has five, and is likely to land the state's top player Kayvon Thibodeaux.  USC has the 29th ranked class in the country. Their highest rated player is 120 in the composite. It's conceivable that USC only manages to land 4 of the top 20 players in the State of California this year if Bru chooses Texas, assuming Sean Rhyan and Kyle Ford choose USC. If some truly freaky shit goes down, they may only land those two players who are already committed. They've got a real fucking dumpster fire going on over there.

Well Wiltfong just put in a crystal ball for Sean Rhyan to UCLA, also has his on Washington already for Kyle Ford.
