  1. Trump still owes $569,204. The mayor should tell him not to come whether he pays his bills or not. He has already done enough for El Paso.
  2. Nope. The point of my post is that you were ignorant of the fact that a 100-round magazine was just used when you tried to call another poster out for posting a picture of one. Full stop. I should have left it at that so you had nothing to try to deflect from your own stupidity.
  3. I don't disagree, he fired 41 rounds and caused 36 casualties. That would be insanely accurate for even a trained shooter in those conditions, but it's beside the original point of my post responding to him calling another poster out and saying no one uses those aside from Youtube videos, when in fact the Dayton shooter just used a 100-round magazine. He fired 41 rounds without reloading, that's impossible without the 100-round magazine he used. I should have said even a 10-round magazine would have resulted in fewer casualties, because there is no disputing it.
  4. Try to distract from your own ignorance all you want. I responded to you, because you aggressively called out another poster and said the poster should "Choose a better boogieman. Nobody uses those outside of YouTube videos and movies." After being shown that a 100-round magazine was used in the Dayton shooting, you got hostile with me. Now, you are continuing to be an ignorant dick. Read about the shooting before running your mouth and continuing to expose your ass. I know exactly how many rounds the shooter fired, it's in the article I posted in the in the post you are responding to. The shooter fired 41 rounds.
  5. He attempted to murder 13 people. That's a very light sentence, not even two years per attempted victim. Being radicalized by Trump should not be a mitigating factor.
  6. That was the point you we're making. I'll quote you a second time, since you are embarrassed and pretending to have forgotten what you said. A 100-round magazine was used in one of the shootings currently being discussed and you were completely ignorant of that and were running your mouth attacking other posters. Internet flex all you want and pretend that didn't happen, the rest of us have reading comprehension skills. A 100-round magazine ban would have saved lives in the Dayton shooting. A bump stock ban would have saved lives in the Las Vegas shooting. A 30-round magazine ban would have saved lives in many of these shootings. Read about them next time before spouting off. Here, I'll save you the google search on Dayton, since you obviously don't care enough to be informed before showing your ass. https://time.com/5643405/what-to-know-shooting-dayton-ohio/
  7. Maybe you should be less concerned about whether people call it a clip or a magazine and more concerned with actually spending some time learning the details about these mass murders before you make ignorant comments in the future. If you had, you would have known that the Ohio shooter used a 100-round magazine, nearly identical to the one posted. That's how this murderer was able to kill 9 people and wound 27 others without reloading before the police killed him in 32 seconds. Even a 30-round magazine would have resulted in fewer victims.
  8. In case anyone doesn't know why putting the flags back to full-staff on 8/8 is at best, in horrifically poor taste, see below. However, there are plenty of white supremacists in the Trump administration. They have repeatedly used white supremacist hand signs and terminology. This is most likely an intentional rubbing of salt into the wounds. https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/88
  9. Probably why he broke his shoulder. It didn't have anything to connect to and was vulnerable just quivering there in his gelatinous torso.
  10. Sounds like a great spot for the next asteroid to hit.
  11. He's a racist asshole with a staff of racist assholes. It doesn't matter whether that's his idea, or Stephen Miller's.
  12. Just stopping in for his Prima Nocta rights.
  13. The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
  14. He should just put a bucket under his hands and start collecting the blood dripping off them. He's letting it go to waste just running off onto the floor.
  15. Any chance he had of implicating Saudi Arabia as a whole in exchange for a deal was low to begin with, given we've shown zero interest in holding the Kingdom responsible for 18 years, even though 19/21 hijackers were Saudi and the Saudis are responsible for and have exported the Wahhabi movement that caused the problem in the first place. There is zero chance of a deal that implicates Saudi Arabia now that Trump is President. They are inseparably entwined. The Saudis waged a social media interference campaign to help Trump get elected. They made illicit deals with Trump and co to gain nuclear technology. Trump and especially Kushner are owned by the Saudi's. King Salman violated Saudi agnatic succession to name MBS illegitimately Crown Prince. MBS is a usurper and no other US administration in history would have allowed it. The only way MBS becomes king is if Trump is still President. Unless KSM incriminate rival princes and not Saudi Arabia as a whole, this is as dead as he will be soon. Hope he enjoys his 72 raisins .
  16. Fauxcahontas and Lieawatha are at least puns. They have some insult value, though they aren't particularly clever and the GOP base probably only knows Pocahontas from the Disney movie. They have no clue who Hiawatha was. Fortunately, Trump is too stupid, lazy and narcissistic to get the insult right and the insult has lost most of its value. Trump fucked up the insult when he called her Pocahontas instead of Fauxcahontas the first time and he is completely incapable of rectifying that mistake. Instead, he has doubled and tripled down on it repeatedly, to the point that he couldn't go back and fix it now, even if he wanted to. Every time any Trumpkin calls her either Pocahontas, or correctly use the insult Fauxcahontas, it is a blunt reminder that Trump is a narcissistic buffoon, incapable of even the most basic self reflection and is utterly unfit to hold any elected office, let alone the Presidency. The fact that it doesn't remind his supporters of this and cause them to reconsider their support is a massive condemnation of their own intelligence and capability for self-reflection. They are utterly unfit to be citizens and voters of the United States of America that our forefathers envisioned, but unfortunately our forefathers didn't foresee 40% of the population becoming barely functioning morons and we are stuck with the dipshits.
  17. No judge should be elected at any level. Way off topic and maybe merits a different thread because it's a good discussion to have, but I'd propose something like this. On the federal level they should all have fixed, finite terms. District court judges should have a fixed ~10 year term, appellate courts a fixed ~6 year term, supreme court a fixed ~6-10 year term. These terms should be staggered with significant turnover every two years, while still retaining and passing on institutional knowledge. Appellate and especially supreme court judges should have a lifetime ban on lobbying the federal government, or holding federal office afterwards. Possibly district court judges too. I would favor similar similar term limits and restrictions for Congress as well, though I would allow them to seek the Presidency after holding office. They are all supposed to be public servants, let's make them start acting like it.
  18. Wow. Granny has a stronger jawline than Mitch.
  19. For many of us, it's not surprising in the slightest. If someone is paying close attention, it's been obvious on here for some time. The Tulsi thread on here was started by a Trump/"GJ" troll and almost all of the "support" for her on there is from Trump/"GF" trolls, especially on the third, most recent page. For other people, yes, it is important to point out Astroturfing. Astroturfing is effective. A huge portion of this country is not paying attention. The only way someone like Trump becomes president is if most Americans aren't paying attention, or are overwhelmed and tune out. Trump literally wouldn't be President right now if Astroturfing and dominating the online info space in 2015 didn't work. For that reason, it's important to point out Astroturfing while it's happening, even if I agree with the point they are spreading. I agree with you that their trolling and Astroturfing will go to 11 once they can focus on a single candidate. The consequences will be much more pronounced. @rvawonk and @katestarbird will be analyzing who is responsible then as well.
  20. This is the guy that started the hashtag. Not a lot of ambiguity on who he supports.
  21. Just clarifying again, I think Kamala Harris' record is horrid. I think she has super thin skin and cannot tolerate criticism. I'm glad she's gone after Biden and Tulsi, but she is single-handedly responsible for putting countless poor and minority people in prison for non-violent drug offenses, ruining their life and their family's lives forever. The gaping holes this left has rippled through their communities and will take decades to heal, if not generations. That should permanently disqualify her for consideration for becoming the Democratic presidential candidate. That said, the #KamalaHarrisDestroyed WAS started by a Trump supporter and was propagated by his 509K followers, now 510K. His tweet has been viewed 493,000 times, it's been retweeted 15,233 times and been liked 41,797 times. Almost all of them have been by actual accounts, not bots. I happen to agree with him, but it is a fact that this particular hashtag was initiated and propagated by Trump supporters.
  22. Kamala sucks and her record is horrible. I'm glad Tulsi went after her on it. Tulsi sucks and her record is horrible. I'm glad Kamala is going after her for it. They both suck independently of each other and I hope both Kamala and Tulsi are out of the race as soon as possible. You have issues with reading comprehension, or are intentionally misstating what I posted.
  23. There are a number of scholars on Twitter that track how these fake movements get pushed. @rvawonk and @katestarbird are good ones to read if you want a sense of how this disinformation spreads and who is ultimately behind them. @rvawonk, in particular, is a prolific twitter poster, she often posts about white supremacist groups like the Proud Boys and has repeatedly drawn their ire. @katestarbird posts far less, but her research is fantastic. So far, it's not Russians directly, but predominately US accounts using the same tactics Russia trolls and bots used. Look at our own board to see this. Several of the same people who are pushing Tulsi on here are the same people that have been lying on here for years, claiming there was no Russian interference in 2016, or that it was trivial and ineffective. An example from the last couple of pages, Fozzz has been one of her most vocal supporters on here since Tulsi first started to draw attention, well before any of the debates. That should give anyone who knows his posting history serious reasons to doubt whether Tulsi has any organic support even among the meager 1-2% she polls. Here's what @rvawonk has to say about it. Here's why Tulsi should be unelectable by any political party in the United States. Being a homophobe as shown earlier in the thread and giving propaganda wins to a dictator, murderer, torturer and war criminal is spectacularly bad judgement at a minimum and indicates she is dishonest and an especially shitty human being. This in no way should be viewed as me endorsing Kamala. I think she's a shitty human being as well.
  24. It looks like DeBlasio's hand is controlled by a puppeteer.
  25. For all the circling, the other candidates missed a great chance to hit Biden there. Not just said it, he went out of his way to write an op ed saying it. He is either lying now, because he thinks it's politically unpopular, or he was lying then. Either way, it's an inexcusable position and has no place in the Democratic party.
