    Some nuggets:

“We heard he had some proclivity to make tapes,” said one Trump adviser, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation. “Now we are wondering, who did he tape? Did he store those someplace where they were actually seized? . . . Did they find his recordings?”

One associate said Trump knew of Cohen’s practice because the attorney would often play him recordings Cohen had made of his conversations with other top Trump advisers.

“If you are looking for evidence, you can’t do any better than people talking on tape,” said Nick Akerman, a former Watergate prosecutor.

Unfortunately now Trump is in his comfort zone, where he's lived most of his adult life.... Cornered, hand in the cookie jar, and ready to battle in the courts.

I can't fathom anybody still not understanding that this guy is a walking talking piece of shit.

This guy takes offense to your last sentence.

"Um.... well that's between him and God."

Some pastor a week or so ago on CNN. Good stuff.

Scott Pruitt told staff "find me something to do"  when he wanted to vacation on taxpayer's dime:

Scott Pruitt has three secret email addresses:

Scott Pruitt reportedly seen late at night in D.C. area notorious for draq queens:

My favorite part of the Pruitt scandal is that he flies first class and stays in luxury hotels when he travels "on EPA business", but flies coach or on a buddy pass and stays in a 50 dollar a night room when it's his dime.

I know the room deal is a scandal in itself.

Happened in the '80's, right?  That's when Trump was a Democrat.  Of course he got an abortion, you dumb lib.  Now that he's a Republican and a man of God, he of course wouldn't let something like that happen today.

Sadly that's exactly what would happen. After the evangelicals gave him a pass for the Stormy affair they will do whatever mental gymnastics are required to support their dear leader.

Is it wrong to want to see one of Andre's turds?

    Asking for a friend.

There are probably some old hotel housekeepers that could describe them to you. Rumor is that he would shit in the bathtub because he didn't fit on the toilet.

That may or may not be true, but to Ric Flair's point about the mythology of the man, you just don't know.

Thought it was a great doc. You could tell that some people like Crystal and Reiner etc really loved him by their expressions as they recalled stories of Andre.

Fucking hell, I'm all for this.  Make serving in Congress as lucrative as jury duty and that will scatter these assholes real quick like.  We can set up a dorm to house them when they are in DC complete with a shitty cafeteria.  Getting to and fro DC... your ass is flying coach at best and preferably taking Greyhound.

And before anyone gets on their high horse and bitches about the quality of representation this will bring, need I remind you of the current state of affairs?

I thought about the same thing regarding housing, but in all seriousness that would make for a really nice target for the bad guys.

I do think we should do away with their pension and 401k matching. We should make them liquidate all assets except for primary residence in their district, so that they can't legally benefit from inside trading knowledge, stop giving away 40k for furnishings for home state offices, as well as stop paying for in district offices. Make them pay for health insurance and their gym membership while we're at it.

Regarding the pay, I don't think that we should lower it to jury duty levels but we should only pay on the days they are in session or committee meetings. Although with the median net worth of a congressman over one million dollars I would be fine with that too.
