  1. Why, that’s fucking negligence to Mack Brown levels. This isn’t Kansas St, fuck the money. Throwing away this season and potentially losing to both aggy and Oklahoma gives away a huge gap we’ve gained over both of them and should put Sark on a warm seat in 2026. Honestly, this is retarded fucking logic. There is no sunken cost fallacy at Texas. We can absorb nearly any money loss.
  2. Forgive my comprehension, but what exactly are you saying?
  3. When you’re a 1.000 graded recruit, those are the expectations. He underperformed period. It’s fine, but to pretend otherwise is disingenuous.
  4. Sam has multiple 400 yard passing games at Texas. This narrative he was some inept passing battering ram is weird.
  5. No, you never scuttle a season for one player. You do what is best for the team always, always, always.
  6. The problem is he’s getting worse with more reps.
  7. Is it not out of the realm of possibility? Hence the word “IF”
  8. unfortunately when coached by Ex-QBs there’s this “I’m smarter than everyone else” complex. It’s why championship coaches are frequently ex defensive players or ex offensive linemen. They heavily understand the importance of assignment laden and fundamental football. Where the QB tends to lean towards “I can outsmart or out scheme our deficiencies.” It rarely ever works. Football will always be about trench warfare. It’s why Big 12 teams would frequently get smacked when facing upper echelon SEC teams in the past.
  9. The thing that made VY special (other than his God mode running ability) was his demeanor and swagger. He reminds me of that line from gladiator, “death smiles at us all, all a man can do is smile back.” No moment was too big, he was loose and confident and it inspired those around him all the way up to the coaches belief in him. He was truly a kid having fun with his friends and the hero of the story. Arch, right now, is the complete opposite of that. A true antihero. Everything looks rigid and forced, where 1st and 10 feels like 1st and 100. He’s stiff, uncertain, and hesitant. He hasn’t shown any moxie or leadership. He needs to sit, he’s getting worse with more reps. And if the alcoholism is true, Sark knows firsthand how destructive that is and needs to do what’s best for Arch and get him into rehab. Peyton and Eli, please have this talk with your nephew. https://youtu.be/o1nS19OOD-U?si=KC_pkHhMS2G6Wn6j
  10. Arch can transfer*
  11. Jk, 6 wins.
  12. I mean if the OL can't get a push against fucking UTEP then who really gives a shit anyways tbh. The team will be absolutely nothing if that's the case.
  13. Sark's approach to offense is low key ass cheeks. There's completely no point in going for it there. Pin em deep and reset. This legit looks like an 8 win team.
  14. Black-black-white is y'all's best look in my opinion.
  15. Gibson needs more carries.
  16. Is there really nobody more serviceable at Right Tackle?
  17. They're going to be on the field too much. Did you miss that Arizona St game last year?
  18. RUSH YARDS
  19. I don't care about draft picks. Production man, production. Rush offense rankings 2021: 26th 2022: 36th 2023: 25th 2024: 71st
  20. Should be butt fucking San Jose St on the ground to the tune of 200+ yards. Central Michigan put 236 on em.
  21. Outside of Jonathan Brooks, the Sark run game has been a disappointment his whole tenure. Zero identity or grit in running the football.
  22. Banks needs to go
  23. One gigantic area I'm on board with Tech's Cody Campbell on, is a singular "pooled" TV contract. I personally believe the time for conferences is over. There's really not much benefit to them anymore especially when you can pool value from multiple sports together with gigantic brands. There's more money to be had and much better opportunity for scheduling. I personally would love for the "premier league" (no relegation bullshit) but a "right size" of the top of college football to be split north and south consisting of roughly 64ish teams total. Work out some permanent/semi-permanent rivals and have a rotation of brands playing somewhat regularly. Would look at lot like this: Texas - A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tech Semi permanent: Baylor, TCU, Rice, SMU Rotation based on a H&H basis (at least once per decade): Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, Nebraska, Penn St, Miami, Florida Fill in games with teams on the level of: Boston College, Cal, Arizona St, Purdue, etc. These next few weeks over college football show the lack of vision in the sport. There are hardly any good games. A really poor showcase for TV audience. Games against G5 not as big of a problem, but these FCS games are a complete waste of everyone's time except the FCS school playing the part of a prostitute taking an ass pounding for a big payday.
  24. With a big QB like Arch, it is a wonder why they don't have a tush push package like Philly. Seems unstoppable when they do it.
  25. So glad I got to witness 2005. This fuckin school underperforms so god damn much. It's always someone else, always stepping on our own dick. Crabtree catch, bang into a 350 pound defensive tackle with a QB, 2023 & 2024 just never made the play. 2025 elite defense pathetic offense. Just not meant for this school to ever flex it's resources and dominate. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
