Very cool.  I didn't post any Joy Division since they are obviously not obscure, but they were one of those bands I discovered through the import catalogs, still have my original 12-inch singles of She's Lost Control and Love Will Tear Us Apart.  Also had an original UK pressing of Unknown Pleasures that I sold off back in college when I was broke, still kicking myself in the ass over that one.  I remember seeing the Durutti Column listed a lot in those catalogs.  Good stuff, I will dive deeper into their music.

I wasn't familiar with them until I heard this with the Otis Redding samples on "24 Hour Party People". It was mesmerizing.

  2. Hot damn, that's awesome, thanks for that!  Love that roadhouse rock-n-roll. Reminds me of a guy that came out in the early 90's, Webb Wilder.  One of those journeyman rockers who got a little airplay then disappeared.  This is the only song of his I ever remember hearing on the radio, but I still dig it, just rocks. Kind of Georgia Satellites meets Dave Edmunds.

Saw him in Dallas in the early 90s. One of the loudest shows ever.

  3. Am I missing something?

All I see is pics of the old terminal and separate renderings of hotel rooms. There’s nothing about how they intend to integrate one with the other, which seems to be the most important part.

TWA Flight Center. The guestrooms designed by New York City firm Stonehill Taylor will be accessible through Saarinen’s iconic flight tubes made famous by the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can. Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy some highlights of our rooms.b94808c1c2e5d8b512184cc1d3f7e88e.jpg

  4. Pretty sure my 15 plus year old Dalmatian has gone deaf. God bless her. Came home today, and she didn't know I was even there until I came right up in front of her. No longer barks when the other dogs are barking. *sigh*

Bummer 15 is pretty long run for a Dalmatian isn’t it?

That sweet thing would be high on my list. I have loved wagons since I was a kid. Looks like they are making a small comeback for the US market finally. For the few times I really need a truck(have one now)I would rent one.
