He was lined up 2 down from the center (in left tackle position) on the line of scrimmage and then had a receiver on that side also on the line. If the receiver is on the line, any other player also on the line inside of that receiver on that side of the ball is ineligible.
Yeah, when I looked at that I thought he was lined up too close to the line and wasn't far back enough. If he was on the line, which it looked like, the tackle was not eligible, regardless of reporting. If the WR wasn't supposed to be on the line, it could have been penalized for illegal formation. A lot of that stuff gets overlooked, but it seems more and more there is a lot of gray area about what they will let go, and what they end up calling at certain times. Refs need to be more consistent, and players need to be coached to line up properly.

We got a reprieve. It was our night. Stars aligned and all ⭐️ but McCarthy is a liability. In a different way from Campbell. Clock management loses games more so than going for it.
Even burning a time out on that fourth down trying to draw them off could have bit them in the ass if they needed to score. Low percentage move, just kick it. It still would have been 4th and 1.

I helped out with the Round Rock Christmas Bird Count this morning at Lake Pflugerville. Absolutely perfect day, and our crew of 5 recorded just over 50 species in 3 1/2 hours, despite very few ducks on the water. Highlights were marsh wren, a couple northern harriers, a pair of hidden soras calling from the reeds, and an osprey as our very last bird.
I highly recommend checking out a CBC if you're interested in getting more into the hobby. You can see a ton of stuff, often with people more knowledgeable than you, who are happy to share what they know.
Any hooded mergansers there? I think there was a pair reported recently. I was thinking about maybe heading that way to get it on my list, haven't had one this year.

Good luck to Garver. Glad we finally had him healthy and on a hot streak at just the right time. He will be remembered well.

Dewalt for primary power tools, and Ego Power for chainsaws and stuff. Their batteries are impressive.

Holy shit. A safety because the referee tripped in the end zone.
Refs aren't just making shitty calls to change games, they're actually tacking and shit.

The asshole the Raiders fired, who they stupidly hired in the first place, was so infamously toxic, almost anybody would have been an improvement in the team's morale. But the sure seem to play for the new guy. I hope they give him a shot.

I get the feeling this new Raiders coach might stick around a little while.

I guess grounding is no longer a thing. At least not at KC.

Whatever college football had going for it died with free transfers and pay for play bullshit. It's a shitshow.

NFL is just pro rasslin' with more clothes on. I keep waiting for somebody to come off the sidelines with a chair while the ref is distracted to get way with some shit. Except in the NFL the dirty shit can happen right in front of the crookedass refs eyes anyway.

What's really weird is that before this year Dallas had hardly any home field advantage for the last 20 years or so.
-
Not just sneaking the ball at first an goal at the one inch line was a 7 point plus 50 yard mistake...so far.

And the truck guy I was referring to was actually the head pit guy at Miller's before they moved from their humble digs that made them great, to the hipster location.

Wouldn't be hard for it to be better than Schoepfs. Better than Millers? That would be a surprise since I think that Millers is some of the best that I have ever eaten.
That was true of Schoepf's in the past. But they kick the living crap out of Miller's now. Not even close. They upped their game bigtime, while Miller's kept slipping while selling out to the tourist crowd and installing electric "smokers."

Two leagues, two championship games.
Got blown the hell out in one, I stomped a mudhole in my opponent in the good one.
There were way too many lame duck games having a major impact on rosters at the end. Maybe the fantasy season should be shortened by a week.
