  1. It's a little easier nowdays. Just rank the highest payed college players.
  2. Eleven men on a football team. Eleven secret herbs and spices. Coincidence? I think not.
  3. None, really. Just a while back in the day Takamine acoustics were about all you saw being played on stage. They were everywhere. I didn't even knew they made shitty electric guitars at the time.
  4. I knew a dude that had a Takamine solid body electric guitar. Worst piece of shit I ever held in my hands.
  5. Boch just pulling names out of a hat at this point.
  6. I agree Mingo has potential to be worth the 4, but probably not better than that. It sucks that they didn't have that 4 to draft one of the plethora of far more complete RBs there with early starting potential, far better prospects than Blue, who will likely be a complimentary back that isn't the final answer. But Mingo has a long way to go toward proving he's at least worth that, and he still has massive bust potential as well if the problem proves to be his mental game.
  7. Early UDFA signings: WR Josh Kelly, Texas Tech WR Traeshon Holden, Oregon TE Tyler Neville, Virginia TE Rivaldo Fairweather, Auburn S Justin Barron, Syracuse S Mike Smith Jr., Eastern Kentucky S Zion Childress, Kentucky
  8. Nailed it.
  9. The Cowboys weren't going to draft a qb. I just don't see it. Milton is their development guy. There's no way he's a legit backup. Maybe they think Grier can be it. More likely they will have to address that in the coming weeks and sign a veteran, at least to compete for the backup job.
  10. Players were fine. It was just pissing away extra picks that they badly needed to fill more depth in this class. It didn't have to be that way. They should have been able to get a couple of extra picks, not fewer, and gotten the same guys.
  11. Really wasted a lot of potential in this draft all the way around, minimizing return for a team picking 12th in the order. There are good players here, but they totally fail to address needs and maximize their draft potential. Anything beyond this point in the draft is a crapshoot.
  12. So Dallas apparently gave a 5 and a 6 to move up in the 5th. I don't like the value there. I don't see any 2025 later picks swapped back in return.
  13. Cowboys must have a veteran receiver lined up, either FA or trade. Or they just give zero fucks for WR.
  14. OK, I'll hold off lunch for another few minutes and hope for something good here.
  15. Gordon or Taj Brooks as a late round flyer sound pretty good.
  16. Cowboys up... Jayden Blue? OK, but seems like a fair reach. Bond would have been a better value pick, good upside. Not crazy about the pick, but Blue does have some potential if they can catch lightning in a bottle. They still need to draft another running back and have some competition. Next pick about 24 spots ahead if they don't make a move. See y'all after lunch...maybe.
  17. And with a year or two of his rookie contract already burned.
  18. That's the desk I've been pounding for months. Even tossing out some of the extra later picks for backup roster fodder screwed their ability to move up and get another four.
  19. True, but guys in the 7th would probably be an upgrade over what they have now as well. Not a great situation for a team allegedly dedicated to running the football.
  20. Waiting out the fourth round with no pick is a fuckin' beatdown. Compensatory picks added another 10 slots, and you're seeing some good quality fly off the shelf dirt cheap. I'll go ahead and curse it, but Ollie Gordon at some point later could be intradesting. Seems like a type they could use.
  21. Maybe they don't need a 1000 yard RB because they have so many receiving weapons. Uh...
  22. Not a bad round for a DT or right tackle, but still a crapshoot. Yeah, there will be a RB in the 5th, but it's not gonna be the guy you wanted in the 4th that was more talented and a much better fit.
  23. Running backs coming off the board like free samples at Costco.
  24. The first three Cowboys picks aren't terrible, but they look like a haul for a team picking at 25 rather than 12.
