There are no sure things in football other than Saban and Belichick.

Oh please. There are plenty of coaches that would do well anywhere - especially in the NFL. Herm Edwards has ASU rolling right now and he hadn't coached in years. Carroll may have lost his touch but Tomlin, McVay, BoB, Reid are all guys that could take a program and turn it around at the college level easily imo.

Then you have the Swinneys, Meyers, Harbaughs of the world that while maybe not a sure thing at other schools would be a pretty damn safe bet.

I wonder if an SMU type death penalty is even possible now for a major program with the amount of money tossed around.

I don't know but they love fucking us every chance they get. Dechambeau going pro and telling them to go fuck themselves after they suspended our golf team from postseason play his senior year was great - NCAA championship in hand.

Damn anthem looks pretty great. Wonder how close it will be to this gameplay reveal from June 2017... Seems like it could be a no-man-sky situation?

Well let's see... No Man's Sky was backed by 16 limey fuck con artists in the UK... Anthem is backed by the 6th largest publisher in the industry that clears $3B in revenue each year.

Not saying that EA can't find a way to fuck it up, but No Man's Sky isn't a good comparison.

When I'm wrong it's because of cheating or unparalleled weirdness or because I'm being selfish. I don't feel like the Big 12 will cheat Texas like they have in recent years because they need the bowl game TVs, I think both Iowa State & Texas have already experienced enough weirdness of late (Iowa State's grand upsets have already been many and Texas' odd coaching issues and struggles to "get back" have to end at some point) and I'm not being selfish because Texas hasn't won shit in a decade.

College Football needs a good/great Texas. Meaning, they need a great team in the west. The PAC is awful and USC is faltering. And Michigan is not a western program.

Clemson vs Alabama is getting boring. And OU, Notre Dame and Ohio State are each just too unloveable.

I will be shocked if the PAC wins a title in the next 10 years. Their brand of football fucking sucks.

Some people make it their mission to bitch about everything.

Sounds like this message board I go to sometimes.

Aside - is 76 worth the price tag? About to get a 2k 144hz and some fans and star overclocking this motherfucker. I need some candy to feed it.

Never played FO4 but love Oblivion and FNV.

That's probably enough for me to stay away. I stayed away from BF1 for a while and then when I finally got it I was disappointed. It was COD fast paced gun play. Never really felt like I had to work with anyone.

Sounds like this one is more of the same. Really just want to go back to BF3 game play which was a nice mix of team work (if you wanted to dominate) and a little pace.

Despite the fact that it is running on the same engine - the gameplay is much more akin to BF3 or 2142. Big conquest maps with dogfighting, tanks, sniping. They've captured traditional battlefield a lot better than they did in BF1 (which I enjoyed - but was a bit shallow).

If you have a PC you can get a free trial of Origin Premier for 7 days and DL and check it out.

can all classes revive clan mates?  if so, how do you initiate this?

Some people have complained about it but I like the mechanic. Medic class gets a "quick revive" that you can revive anyone with. It's not the insta-defib action of bf in the past - but it's pretty snappy.

For squadmates - you can revive but it is a rather long action and you are without utility for the duration. i.e. - you're a sitting fucking duck and in prime position to get your head knocked off.

Using smoke grenades to revive squadmates when you're in the shit is one of my go-tos.

Also - as you would expect - the action is janky and sometimes doesn't register when you're hitting the revive key. Which - is probably my biggest gripe overall with the game. The actions aren't very flush and the object collision is horrendously obnoxious (Oh? You want to step over a 18 inch outcrop? Nope. Try again)

I like using them for deer/pig hunting.  Hunting with Iron Sights is fun because it gives the prey a chance.  Gotta be steady.

You're a real hunter then. Met a handful of guys that got to be so damn good it got boring to them. One of them now bowhunts on horseback for whatever poor large mammal woke up that day.

My next rifle purchase will be another 45-70 from Taylor's, but it will be the lever action with 26 in barrel.  Just beautiful

When you order that it comes with a handle of 100 proof bourbon, a ten gallon hat, and a rucksack full of chewin tobacco.

I've never fired a lever action but I imagine it is just as fun as it seems. Especially when you're spitting out bullets that the Geneva Convention probably discussed at some point.
